A wonderful stay at Guesthouse Kaatshuvel. All staff were friendly and welcoming, our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. 10 minute walk to Efteling and the supermarket just behind was really handy. We had a great stay here and would happily come back again.

We just check out this morning, having spent 2 nights here. We absolutely loved our time and I wish we could have stayed longer. We are 2 adults and 2 kids (6+9) and we stayed here and bought the inclusive Efteling tickets bundle. Firstly check in was smooth with free parking right behind the guest house for entirety of our stay. They gave us our Efteling tickets at check in and we put our luggage in the store room. Within 20 minutes we were back out of the door to Efteling which was a pleasant 10 min walk with kids. We had a 6 person farmhouse room which the kids loved as they enjoyed the top bunks. Room was immaculately clean (as was rest for hotel), and well furnished with a kettle and hair dryers, lots of towels etc. Beds were all super comfy and the noise in the corridor very minimal and not late. You get to choose your breakfast slot and we had the 730-930 both days. Breakfast was continental style with lots of choice and good quality hot and cold food. You can pay a supplement to make up a lunch bag to take for day trips if you want to. There were washing machines that could be used and a freezer where people kept ice packs for lunches out. We didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on this. We did eat at a brilliant Greek restaurant 3 minutes walk away called Mykonos which is also recommend (they only take cash, atm inside the Albert Klein supermarket at the back of the guest house). Staff super smiley and friendly and the bar was a nice area to relax. Kids enjoyed the play areas and mini golf on site was great fun. It was busy when we stayed but never felt overwhelming. I really hope they open more of these in different locations because it was a really lovely stay.

We had a fantastic family holiday here! The location is perfect — just a short walk to Efteling, which made visiting the park stress-free. We were also able to store our kids’ bikes securely, which was a great bonus. Communication from the property before and after check-in was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with very comfortable beds and all amenities provided (shampoo, hairdryer, etc.), making it really convenient for families. We also loved the dining options — both dinner and breakfast offered an excellent selection with multiple sittings to suit everyone’s schedule. This was a truly family-friendly stay, and we would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be returning!

We really enjoyed our stay here after Efteling. A short walk from the park and above a supermarket made it very convenient. The room itself was wonderful, clean and spacious and nicely decorated. It was quiet at night. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a standard spread and the room was nice and relaxing. If we visited Efteling again, we would choose this hotel over the park hotels. The free laundry facilities were excellent.
