Can't beat the location and the staff tries very hard. It isn't the Four Seasons and part of the charm is this old hotel building where no two rooms seem to be the same. But this room was on the third floor and nice and quiet!

Great historic hotel! Cannot beat the location- it’s right in the heart of the town. You can walk everywhere!

Old ******* property with no amenities. No elevator so dont bring big bags because there is no one to helo you drag them up to the 3rd floor. No parking at all and no one can tell you where to park. No full time staff after 4pm. The head of the bed is lower than the feet...very loud music from the bar and loud noise outside in the street all night...

Real Alaska Experience
Definitely a unique stay. Definitely not for your common comment complainer. But for me it was great. Karoke was fun drinks cheap great vibe fabulous service. Adventure traveler spot also the cheapest in town by far.

Property needs major upgrade...no heat, no soap, linen was dirty, hole in the wall and old furnishings. Left for another hotel.

Check in was super easy. Staff was very friendly and great about explaining the noise from the bar is loud especially in certain rooms so we were able to get a room that wouldn't be as exposed to the noise. The location is fantastic and great to walk around.
