Great location. Clean and a friendly staff. Large variety of food with the free breakfast. Warm cookies and/or scones waiting for you every time you returned from an adventure. Easy access to building and room. Centrally located, close to downtown. Great place to stay.

A wonderful stay at Silverbow! The inn is terrific, great central location but what made it really special was the hospitality and fabulous staff! Tina was a gem! A perfect place to stay in Juneau.

Great experience! The lobby is welcoming with locely breakfast in the morning. Did not use rooftop but looked great. All the staff was friendly with great customer service.

Unfortunate experience due to either shady practices or a misunderstanding by their staff. Originally booked a Queen through Chase Travel. Our travel party unexpectedly increased from 2 to 3, so we called our travel specialist for help upgrading to the King + Sofabed. The travel specialist spoke with the hotel staff who gave a verbal agreement (on a recorded line) to upgrade us to the King + 2 Sofabed room for $80 total over 2 nights. When we arrived, the room was only a King - no sofabed. The manager, Heather, then tried to insist we pay $90 despite the upgrade not matching what was promised over the phone - and claimed there was no way we were promised what we were promised. She wanted us to pay more for a lesser upgrade. We have filed a claim through Chase and their 3rd party booking vendor with the recorded call as support - but I recommend staying away if there is any chance you may need to modify your booking because they will not accommodate or will make false promises. On the positive side, the location and breakfast were great. Hot tub is very small - it is a 2-person hot tub. Also - slight concern regarding the safety of the room; we were on the 1st floor and the window lock was old/unreliable. Overall, it would have probably been a great experience had it not been for the manager refusing to honor the agreement that was made over the phone prior to our visit.

This “boutique” is a no go. I highly recommend you book elsewhere. My 80 year old parents had a fabulous trip planned that had to be cancelled 5 days ahead of time since my mom got sick. They called the hotel and they offered no recourse. No refund, no credit, no graciousness, no nothing. My dad asked that if they booked the room would they please refund part of their stay and they replied No! Every other provider in the area were so helpful and understanding. Their trip is already re-booked and they won’t be staying here. Nor will my family when we travel summer 2026. Please stay elsewhere and support other business.

Check in was easy. Staff was great. It felt very home like. The homemade scones were very tasty. The hot tub was very clean and my husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. If we go back to Juneau for any reason we will be booking a stay again at the Silverbow Inn.
