ok stay This place would have been great in the past. The hot tub I was so excited to get in but didn't. The hot tub wasn't cleaned at all and had sand and bugs all in it. Also didn't smell chlorine or any cleaning agents in it. There were alot of spots in the cabin with dead bugs. Other than these things mentioned it was ok.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite the cottage had to offer. The porches surround three sides of the building nestled in the woods/mountains of TN. The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. We look forward to returning in the near future for another getaway!

Beautiful & secluded The cabin was pristine. The beds were comfortable. The shower was clean and large enough. The hot tub was great, and there was a tv out by it, which was nice. The path up to the cabin was a little daunting at first, and it might nit be accessible to a sports car with low clearance, but my compact sedan got up there just fine.

Mountain Getaway We loved the remote location and the solitude. The hot tub was hot but the jets not so much. The property was very clean and the bed very comfy. The he rain on the tin roof was relaxing as was the front porch swing and all the birds! Overall the property was more than we expected for the price.

Sweet and secluded cabin in beautiful location We truly enjoyed our time at this sweet cabin near the Virginia creeper trail. The hot tub was clean and a great way to relax in the evenings, and we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. The outdoor porch is comfortable and inviting, with a hammock, a table for meals, and another table for playing games. There is even a TV mounted over the hot tub, although we did not use it. The inside of the cabin is very homey and has full kitchen amenities and a very comfortable couch & chairs. The beds were not very comfortable but that may be individual taste. The only truly disappointing part of our stay was the poor communication with the hosts. The first night that we were there, we discovered that the television in one guestroom was not working and we also had trouble getting the propane stove going (The latter continue to be a problem throughout the weekend but my husband is pretty handy and figured out a way to make it work). We called the host (Mark) and he was gruff and rude on the phone. He finally offered to come out but made it clear it was an inconvenience, so we declined. Our only other suggestion in addition to more polite and responsive hosting would be to add some bath towels (there was only one towel apiece to be used for both hot tub and bathing) and to fix the front door lock —— it did not work consistently. (I noticed that other guests have reported this as well). Overall, we rate it a 4 out of 5 because it is overall a lovely place and it’s clear that Diana has put her heart and soul into the decor, which conveys a warm welcome. Mark may have just had a bad day.
