Peaceful, very clean, and friendly!
We had a delightful stay at Brooks Cottage for my daughter's graduation. The room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept like rocks on the comfortable mattresses with the airconditioning blasting away the Pretoria heat.
Norma and her husband were wonderful hosts, offering friendly conversation over a delicious freshly prepared breakfast.
Would highly recommend!

Johannesburg Gem
On rare occasions, you find a place not expecting very much and then you're gobsmacked by how amazing a find it is. 1945 On Kloof is one of those places. Located in a quite neighborhood that is central to everything in Johannesburg this boutique hotel astounds. Staff are superb and go out if their way to make your stay perfect. The manager, Warren, acknowledges and responds to every request with a desire to ensure the needs of every guest is met. Food is great for such a small establishment and everything cooked fresh.
Rooms are small but with all modern conveniences and so clean it feels like you're the first guest there.
This hotel is now a firm favorite and I'll recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, safe place to stay in Johannesburg.

Outstanding place to stay while on business
Simply amazing stay. Warren was an excellent host, and nothing was too much trouble. I had dinner in their restaurant, and it was seriously outstanding. I will definitely be staying there again when next I have to travel to JHB on business.

The guest house was very clean and beautiful. The host was very welcoming. The property was secure and included a gated entrance and security guard. Food was delicious and they were very accommodating with everything. We asked for breakfast and dinner to be served at certain time and they had no problem accommodating it for us. It felt like we were at home. Highly recommend!

Beautiful boutique hotel😍 We hosted matric dance pre party for our boys. Can’t thank Warren and staff enough for the amazing service we received. The establishment is top notch, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The boys and our guests could not stop raving. This place is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend for hosting an event or a weekend away. Warren went an extra mile to make sure our event was a success. I highly recommend and will be going back.

Es war ein wundererbarer Aufenthalt. Warren ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der gerne auf alle Wünsche seiner Gäste eingeht. Er zauberte mir neben der allgemeinen Speisekarte ein Essen nach meinen Wünschen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Ich kann dieses kleine Boutique Hotel nur empfehlen.

Absolutely Superb! Attention to detail. Rooms are beautiful, clean and beds are very comfortable. It was truly amazing, the stuff are prompt, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is absolutely on point to fit your taste buds. We will definitely stay here again.
