The smoking in the hotel needs to stop. It's not in the room, but it's in the hallway, downstairs. Smoking needs to be done outside, not everybody wants to inhale, a cigarette smell. Otherwise, everything is good

We would highly recommend staying here. The staff are friendly accomodating and made us feel at home. The room is very clean and the property beautiful. Warren is an exceptional host and works hard to ensure your stay is perfect. The breakfast is wonderful and the dinner (we had fish) was super yummy 😋 Thank you all for taking such good care of us.

I enjoyed the customer service by my host, Warren. He was so accommodating to my needs and questions. This was far better than a corporate chain of hotels. From the time I checked in to my last day, he had a great smile, the staff had impeccable service. He even made sure I had hot breakfast before my early safari tour! I would recommend this place to book whenever you are in Johannesburg, South Africa. I will be booking here again in the future! 😊

The owner of the property was great, very friendly and super flexible. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a very short drive to Eastgate and Bedford Centre not too far away

Peaceful, very clean, and friendly!
We had a delightful stay at Brooks Cottage for my daughter's graduation. The room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept like rocks on the comfortable mattresses with the airconditioning blasting away the Pretoria heat.
Norma and her husband were wonderful hosts, offering friendly conversation over a delicious freshly prepared breakfast.

The guest house was very clean and beautiful. The host was very welcoming. The property was secure and included a gated entrance and security guard. Food was delicious and they were very accommodating with everything. We asked for breakfast and dinner to be served at certain time and they had no problem accommodating it for us. It felt like we were at home. Highly recommend!
