Infinity at the Sea by Welkom

Overall Experience: The hotel received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with users frequently describing their stay as 'Exceptional', 'Wonderful', and 'Very Good', indicating high satisfaction with the overall quality of service and amenities.

The staff is very friendly and even helped our party with a lost item! Lovely location and overall peaceful environment. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was worth it! Some rooms are larger than others and are very cozy for movie nights.

I often stay in the city of Joao Pessoa for a night when planning on a special dinner or event. Infinity At The Sea Hotel has been on my list of places to stay, based on online reviews and its external appearance. At check-in, all the reception staff were incredibly nice, especially Amanda. The lobby itself was attractive, so I still had high hopes. The hotel is well-situated right in front of the ocean in a good part of town near many restaurants and shops. When I got to the room, I was completely disappointed by the poor work the housekeeping had done in the bathroom. I have never seen so much mold in a hotel’s shower in my life, and I’ve stayed in some dumps over the years. It was impossible to miss and was inexcusable. The shampoo dispenser (they do not provide individual shampoos, but instead, they have a dispenser on the wall) was also covered with soap scum and had obviously not been cleaned. The room itself had not one hanger, or even a place to hang anything. Also, the hotel room has no safe. Breakfast, which is included was underwhelming. The restaurant where they serve breakfast is very small (only about 8 or so tables), so I could see how this could be a big problem if the hotel was full. They have some items in a buffet, but you need to ask the server for eggs or tapioca. The waitress never came to our table, so in the mean time I tried 2 pastries from the buffet and both were hard and stale, so I decided to skip their eggs and avoid another disappointment. My wife asked the server for some cold milk for her coffee (in Brazil, the milk is usually served hot), but when the server brought what looked like curdled milk in a glass, I nearly fell out of my chair (after inspecting the “milk”, it appeared the server didn’t have any cold milk, so she improvised and mixed cold water with powdered milk, which turned into lumps. How much better would it have been if she just said “we don’t have any cold milk”?). I wouldn’t stay here again, and I cannot recommend it either.
