Service: Upon arrival, parking attendants proactively guided us, and after check-in, we were presented with a golden Hada (a traditional ******* ceremonial scarf). A dedicated staff member then escorted us to our room. Booking tickets for 'Romance of the Song Dynasty' through the hotel was very convenient and offered great value. My child accidentally left headphones in the lobby on the first day; we only realized they were missing when packing on the second night. Upon inquiring at the front desk, they were found immediately, as the staff had promptly placed them in the lost and found department. The hotel offers daily interactive activities, such as handicraft workshops and Guozhuang dance lessons, though our older child wasn't particularly interested. Environment: The hotel is conveniently located right next to 'Romance of the Song Dynasty', and the surrounding area has plenty of shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for dining and entertainment. The hotel comprises two different brands/sections across two buildings; we stayed in the Canyon building, which involved quite a bit of walking to reach. The hotel itself offers a good range of restaurants, shops, and leisure/entertainment options. The 'Forest Fairy Tale Bar' creates a very atmospheric setting in the evening. There were also little squirrels scurrying around the garden, though food and drink options within the garden area were limited. The hotel is still about 6-7 kilometers away from Jiuzhaigou. However, during peak season, taxis are hard to come by, don't use meters, and charge 40-50 RMB for a one-way trip. If driving, be aware that the parking lot was completely full. Facilities: As an older star-rated hotel, the facilities generally have a somewhat dated feel. The deluxe twin room featured two 1.5-meter beds, which would easily accommodate two adults and two small children. For our family of two adults and one older child, sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. The edge of the bathroom sliding door was slightly warped/peeling. While it didn't hinder functionality, it could pose a minor safety hazard for young children. 2. I'd suggest adding non-slip mats to the marble floor in the shower area. 3. The conditioner bottle was a bit difficult to squeeze; a pump dispenser would be much more convenient.
