Xishuangbanna Yunzhi Designer Holiday Hotel

Location was alright, it is at the end of the main street so you can walk some 5-10min to get to the crowded Night Market area. Around the hotel there are a couple of chinese restaurant and a couple of spas. Upon arrival, they give you a plate with fruits. The bed was hard so if you have problems with hard mattresses, be ready. The bedroom was spacious, a bit old, but they kept it somehow maintained. The bathroom usually had bad smell in the late evening and early morning. The swimming pool was cold, and it doesn't have sun throughout the day. The breakfast was Chinese style: some noodle, rice, eggs, vegetables, and fruits. Nothing special but handy if you have day activities planned. The best part of the breakfast was the view to the city. They have a bathroom and shower that could be used in case you already checked out and want to get ready. I didn't use them, but I noticed them on the 3F. The gym was not good because it was not an actual gym, they have an old treadmill, a bench that looks for kids, and a pair of dumbbells that can adjust the weight.

Small friendly resort style hotel. Small size means limited amenities but staff attitude is excellent as they really tried their best to meet your requirements. Car park is off site so a short walk away and no problems when weather is good during our stay but could be a problem if raining. Breakfast variety is limited as expected with a boutique hotel. Just manage your expectation so you won’t be disappointed.
