Urban Garden Hotel (Jinchuan Government) ★★
"This was the worst experience I've ever had. Someone had used the toilet in the bathroom and hadn't flushed it, and someone had already drunk the hotel's water. I went to the front desk to get water and mentioned this, and they replied that it was probably the cleaning lady's fault for not cleaning it properly. Why did they let us check in if it wasn't clean? Later, when I went back to the room with the water to charge my phone, I found cigarette butts in the ashtray (I don't smoke). After a long day of driving, especially in Tibet, I hadn't even taken off my clothes and had just slept all night. This was an extremely poor check-in experience. Why did they let us stay in a room that someone else had already stayed in? Even if we hadn't stayed there, was it really necessary to let us stay in a room that the front desk said the cleaning lady hadn't cleaned properly? There was a previous guest's excrement in the toilet, and cigarette butts in the ashtray. Even during the Chinese New Year, I'll still tell the truth: absolutely zero points, even negative points."

"Accommodation in Jinchuan was hard to book during the Pear Blossom Festival, but I unexpectedly stumbled upon Amu's B&B! It's a real-life version of Xie Zhiyao's (a famous Chinese comedian) homestay, transformed from a business he started in his hometown. Don't let the unfinished exterior fool you; inside, it has underfloor heating, hot water, and everything you need. The owner, Amu, is warm, lively, and responsible. Even though the road to the B&B was under construction, he called well in advance to arrange pick-up and drop-off. Arriving at Amu's B&B was amazing! It was a real-life breezy paradise! I took so many photos; I loved it!! This is the first time I've posted so many photos in a review. Amu's wife is an excellent cook; dinner was reasonably priced and delicious. The underfloor heating and hot water were great, and the stay was very comfortable! My parents were very satisfied! Once the road is repaired, I'll definitely stay there for a few more days! Finally, I wish Amu's B&B great success!"
