The exterior retains the traditional Bai folk house architecture, with corner eaves, pavilions, and exquisite and cultural Bai screen walls. While retaining the traditional architectural style, many modern elements are added, which is both Chinese and modern. The whole yard looks grand, exquisite and elegant!, creating a simple and quiet atmosphere. There are many guest rooms in the whole courtyard, a mossy stone lamp, and a naturally fallen maple leaf. We remove all unnecessary decorations just to give you the simple beauty of nature!

We were initially hesitant to book this as the price was low compared to many others but thanks to the ravings reviews that we took the leap of faith.
We booked the most expensive room which came with 2 queen sized beds. We liked the little touches like kids toiletries and cup and probiotics. The host was very friendly as well.
The next morning, we had our rice vermicelli breakfast at the outdoor shed which is quite a quaint experience.
The place is just outside the old town and hence quiet but yet accessible.

Cant help but falling in love with this stay! It was a really peaceful town and we were only in Shaxi for this one night, but the owner was very accommodating and prepared breakfast for us even in the raining day! Yunnan mixian made with love and they also gifted us some tea leaves as a souvenir… I hope to come back to this lovely town again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is beautiful, with lots of charm and attention to detail. We were upgraded for free, which was such a lovely surprise. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It’s perfectly located — close enough to walk to the old town, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by nature. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

It was the perfect place to be in Shaxi! We loved our stay. The room is lovely and cozy and super clean. It’s right next to the old town but feels so much calmer, we loved it! The breakfast was super delicious and the family is really caring and kind.

The room is really clean and spacious. The accommodation is off the main road so it's really peaceful. They have a common tea room and laundry which is a plus for us. The breakfast was so tasty! The host also helped arranged transport for us to Lijiang after learning of our travel plans. Would definitely stay here again.

Traditional architecture and pretty courtyard. Location is just outside the old town and easy to get to by walking. As it is next to the road, the car is able to pick us up and drop us off. The lady boss was also friendly. The breakfast mee sian was very delicious and they even gave us a bag of tea leaves to bring home.
