Good renovated hotel.

Spacious room with balcony and view. Comfortable king bed. Bath with nice amenities. Strong carpet cleaning fluid oder required airing the room twice. Friendly staff. Great location and atmosphere.

Nice, clean, but showing its age in several places. Breakfast is about the same as the FREE Holiday Inn Express, but since it's the Holiday Inn, it's a $19 buffet, which is pretty disappointing. We have stayed here several times in the recent past, so we knew the shortcomings. We will probably come back again since they are pet friendly, have good beach access and the amazing sunrises are still worth it.

The Holiday Inn was so welcoming and has the best ocean view on the island. We had great people helping us with any request. They are friendly and welcoming. Kim, Curtis, Tasheena treated us like family.

This was my first experience on the Island. What a beautiful place it is! I want to personally thank TaSheena Bradley, Front Desk Supervisor for her kindness and patience. Upon arrival and checking in the man at the desk advised he could not find my reservation. Actually he was rude! Offered no assistance. After insisting on seeing the manager, TaSheena went over and beyond with hospitality until she was able to locate it. My reservation had been booked through a third party company and she located it! Thank you TaSheena for your sweet kindness. The rest of the staff were awesome. The restaurant serves some amazing food and the walk on the beach was fabulous.

This is year number 5 and will be the last. Stayed in a suite with loose faucet, mildew and weird odor in bathroom, giant dip in one queen size bed (making it unusable for sleeping even on other side of bed),and both direct tv boxes had been set with password by former customer (one could not be reset). Maintenance guy was able to help with Direct TV - getting one tv going. 1.5 hours of yelling, singing by another customer in middle of night - tried to call front desk for assistance- they never answered. Same customers tried to urinate on tree the next morning with us on balcony overlooking - we said something to stop them. Handicap accessible ramp no longer there so limited beach access for mobility challenged family member (no notice of this change from previous 4 years). We are IHG Platinum members but this stay will severely impact our future stays at ANY IHG hotels, especially this one. This hotel has become run down over the 5 years with minimal funds appearing to be spent on maintenance other than a coat of paint (appearing to attempt to cover up mold in bathroom). 3rd floor coffee barista and maintenance guy, along with front desk staff, were friendly! Other than that - sad sad sad and very disappointed.
