Jekyll Island Ocean Club is tastefully decorated and centrally located within Jekyll Island which makes getting anywhere very easy. Overall, the property was disappointing. This hotel is priced far beyond what is offered in terms of service and amenities. Lack off attention to detail such as not continuously keeping pool towels stocked, broken pool chairs with cigarette burn holes, broken steps leading to the beach, and large gaps in the stonework around the pool are elements that should never be noticed when a property prides itself in luxury and tradition. This hotel is priced like a Ritz but presents itself as a lower Marriott/Hilton property. I would look elsewhere if I were to ever go to Jekyll Island again.

Our great visit started with the parking at the hotel upon arrival. Park near and no fee. Then the greeter at the door/bell hop was very friendly and professional, Carson and Archie. Check in was easy. Gave free bottles of cold water. Room was roomy, clean and a great overlook of the ocean.

My husband and I enjoyed our 56th wedding anniversary at Jekyll Ocean Club. Everything about it was wonderful. Everything was clean, beautiful, every staff person I spoke with was kind, helpful, pleasant, professional. Our room was clean, quiet, roomy…had 2 TVs, bathrooms were nice and roomy. I would have appreciated grab-bars in the shower for safety. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful place to relax and to make sweet memories.

2 Qn suite with pool and ocean views. Room was awesome, views were awesome, everything was awesome! Eighty Ocean breakfast was awesome and the heated pool, giant hot tub, and walk on access to the beach, all awesome. What a cool place! Location was great and we had a stress free and fun time staying at Jekyll Ocean Club.

Beautiful location on the ocean in Jekyll Island. Hotel is clean, and very nice . Rooms overlooking ocean are great with nice balcony. Would recommend this property as a great place for short vacation. However the associated restaurant, Eighty Ocean Kitchen does not live up to the type of experience expected at this level of resort. Food quality is equal to a small town diner . Menus are very limited. We had breakfast and dinner over 3 days at this restaurant. Next time we will search for other restaurants. Food is not creative, very bland. My guess is that owners can not find experience chef in that area so they stick with simple choices and basic ingredients. In summary , great hotel, but find somewhere to eat unless basic diner type food is ok.

This resort is lovely. Specifically the beach resort (there are two parts to this hotel). I love that the beach resort is not too large. Makes it easy to get around. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The views are incredible. The balconies are very private. The staff is Super friendly and helpful wish the rooms included blankets and toasters. Also wish the bar was open in the middle of the day so we could have drinks at the pool. The food at the Wharf was disappointing.
