Property Description
Hello. At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this. Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks, gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.About pets:Pets allowed. No dogs on property w/o prior consent.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Inside outside toys, highchair, portacrib (ask).About customRules:NO dogs on beds at any time. We loved the beautiful settings in the woods and all the privacy! Our host Kamala was very helpful with all aspects of our stay also. Had many suggestions of places to see and explore, even the trails behind the cabin. Loved our stay!!!

Kamala was the best host we've ever had on any vacation. She was so sweet and had so many stories. We even had her over for dinner one night. The power went out after a tree fell in the middle of the night and she was up at 3am to call it in immediately, then came over first thing in the morning to get the wifi back up and running. The trails on the 27 acres are just as awesome as anywhere in the hoh rainforest and they're all literally in the back yard and very clearly marked so it's hard to get lost. This place is truly amazing and the pictures just don't do it justice. It had everything you would need for a place like this, even rain gear. And the outdoor shower was awesome, we may even build one at our own house one day now. 10/10 recommend to anyone staying here and we will 100% stay here again if we come back to the Olympic Peninsula. She gave us all big hugs when we left

Loved our stay at the cabin! It’s a special setting and our kids loved exploring the trails on the property - we walked the trails at least twice a day. We also enjoyed meeting Kamala and chatting with her, she gave us some great travel tips for the next leg of our vacation. It was a pleasure staying at her property!

This is a cozy cabin in a picturesque and private setting. We’ve stayed here twice and really enjoyed our vacations. The owner communicates very quickly and effectively. She is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Our only quibble is with the quality of the mattresses. The main bedroom mattress is quite soft. Our adult boys also would have liked better mattresses. But we all sleep on high quality, firm, and fairly new mattresses, so perhaps we expect too much.

Lovely base camp for our rainforest trip. Enjoyed walking the trails. Heard and saw so many ruby-crowned kinglets, as well as pacific wren and many others. Even watched a bunny munching in the front yard!

The owner maintains gorgeous trails in the rainforest that's part of this property and it is truly special. The owner was very helpful when I asked for restaurant recommendations and short, nearby hikes/excursions.

Great home in the heart of everything we needed during our visit. We enjoyed the city of Forks, the beaches and the Hoh rainforest during our stay. The home had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the homes outside as well from walking the yard to enjoying the dark skies at night to view the Milky Way and dozens of shooting stars. The outside shower is a must to try! I will use this great home again on our next Washington stay. Kamala was very accommodating as our arrival was later than expected and she gave great recommendations to ensure our later evening drive from Seattle was a breeze. Thank you!

As always, this cabin doesn't disappoint. Its so cozy and there is so much to do in and around the property. The trails are breathtaking. The cabin has all the supplies you could want and then some. Kamala is so nice and helpful. We've stayed here several times, and hope to stay againg. Well worth the price. This is our happy place!

We loved staying at the Hoh Valley Hideaway! Kamala was so helpful with recommendations and was so kind. Letting us know to get to the park early made our time inside Hoh rainforest so peaceful! Try the outdoor shower (it’s divine) and walk the trails on the property! Lovely cabin, very private, and magical!
