The property was not as well kept or secure as it could have been. Beer bottles and trash were scatted around the perimeter of the property. Smokers crowed the entry/exits. Trash cans were overflowing. Inside of hotel had unpleasant odors due to dirty carpet. Exit doors could not be closed and locked. It is in a secure location. A little high for services rendered. Fairly convenient to local restaurants. Breakfast was virtually non existent.

The only way to improve the stay is to provide a place to lock up electric bicycles. I could take the $2000 bicycle into the room, but would rather not. Otherwise the place was great!

Microtel means micro-hotel. Rooms are too small for 2 people. My wife and I spent most of our time moving out of each other's way so each could get by. The rooms are much smaller than cruise ship cabins. These small two-person rooms should not be over $100. And during my 17 hour stay I received 11 text messages and 11 emails from them needing responses related to if I needed anything, and the most annoying was the 8am text asking me what time I was leaving.

We stayed here Saturday night after a wedding. We got in late. We woke up at 4:30 in the morning COVERED in ants. They were everywhere—in our beds and all over our belongings. We quickly shook off our things, packed up and left. We told the woman at the front desk. I even still had ants crawling on my bag that I showed her. She apologized, but did not offer any sort of compensation. We needed to deep clean our car and wash all of our items that were in the hotel.

The Front Desk Staff were excellent especially the Evening Staff. Great bed and pillows. The TV was a bit small. I will stay at Microtel again in near future. I will be attending the World Barrel Racing Championships in Perry, GA in July and plan to stay at Microtel.

"Expected More"
This hotel really needs to be upgraded. The furnishings were old and the window seating cushion showed signs of wear and tear. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. With this being a Wyndham property, I expected this place to be upgraded.
