Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace

We came out on the 16th of September until the 26th the staff are absolutely amazing nothing is too much trouble drinks off plenty in fact they encourage you to drink because of the heat. From the minute you walked in the hotel I felt like royalty. I have mobility problems so though no way can I get to the beach I have a mobility scooter there is a path all the way down now our holiday can start. The quality of the food is simply the very best. Entertainment has plenty of seating, entertainment so good love the swinging chaise seat hammocks and rocking chairs everywhere fantastic no expense spared.

Excellent hotel. Food is great. The staff are brilliant! Strongly recommend. The hotel had just had a complete refurbishment. Was good before. Now in a different class. Aliou was great . So helpfull and courteous. The staff and the robots in the dining area are great. I believe the robots are still in training.

Booked with BA Holidays and came April '25. The only room type offered by BA was described as 'side-seaview'. Allocated a room at the back, right on the very end facing the main FV1 road. Noisey and overlooking all the tree/plant debris dumped by the gardeners. Brochure showed photos of the sea and the description 'wake up to the sound of the waves'. BA lifted this directly off the Iberostar website. Hotel refused to move us, saying this it what BA paid for. Do BA pay the lowest rates?? The hotel said if we paid more money, we could be moved. After 3 days of no action, we called BA to intervene, and were eventually moved to a better/acceptable room, but lost day messing about and moving. From then on the hotel was good. Great food and wine/drinks. Reasonable price if on half-board. Large selection of meats/fish/salads. And at breakfast eggs any way you want them. The Japenese restaurant particularly good and entertaining. You get 1 x reservation, per week. The only other negatives about this hotel were the long lines to get served at the cooking stations (grills were too small for the number of guests), and sunbeds difficult to locate - all reserved. One day, we could not find one single sunbed OR chair. And in order to use the pool had to lay our towels on the floor to sit/lay. Not pleasant at 70+ yrs. Car hire needed, as a little out the way. Although you can walk to Morro Jable, a few miles away. The hotel closed, shortly after we left (May '25) and is planned to re-open Sept 25. Just hope they increase restaurant capacity. But nothing they can do about sun terrace size around the pools. Would we return? Maybe, as we liked the food.

I had an amazing time at this hotel with my family – truly unforgettable moments that I’d happily relive again. The hotel is stunning, beautifully maintained and offers a high standard in every aspect. The view from the hotel over the beach and ocean is breathtaking – especially from the jacuzzi with an ocean view! There are also free, shaded sun loungers in a quiet spot overlooking the jacuzzi – perfect for relaxing mornings. The food was excellent with a huge variety, and the drinks were both delicious and beautifully presented. What stood out was the self-service alcohol stations with original branded bottles – something I’ve never seen elsewhere! Prosecco at breakfast? Absolutely! Waiters also constantly brought out peanuts and chips with the drinks – such a thoughtful touch. There were self-serve stations with soft drinks (Coke, Fanta, Sprite) and freezers full of Nestlé and Skittles ice creams. You could also enjoy scooped ice cream or soft-serve from machines throughout the day – plus tasty snacks available in different bars. The area around the hotel is lovely, with a promenade leading to a local town and market. The path to the beach is charming – and I recommend heading left after reaching the sand for the best spot! Housekeeping was excellent – rooms were spotless and well-maintained. There’s also a convenient car rental machine near reception. Evenings were full of fun, with entertainment like a disco and an ABBA tribute show with dancing. We had such a great time – I would absolutely come back again for the service, the food, the location, and that unforgettable view!

Amazing hotel, this is our second time visiting. We have not been disappointed. We first came in April 2024 and the sea view room we had was fab so have requested it again by emailing the hotel. They replied stating they would try but could not guarantee anything. When we checked in, the receptionist mentioned our request and said they were able to get us into the room next to the one we had last year. This made our stay even better as the location of the room was perfect for what we needed and so quiet too. All the staff at this hotel work hard and are always smiling and saying ‘hola’ I didn’t use the pools as swam in the ocean most days. I felt safe as there is a lifeguard at the beach but it’s also possible to swim where the water is not too deep. The water was perfect for swimming in April and so clear too, goggles are a must so you can see the little fish near the rocks. Food and drink at this hotel were top notch as was the Japanese restaurant. We were lucky to get the last booking before it closed for renovation. At the buffet there was something for everyone and the desserts were so delicious and hard to just have one!! I used the spa for the circuit which was nice and relaxing but could be better if it was a little warmer, the steam room didn’t give out much steam and there was no relaxing music playing in the actual spa. There was some in the reception area . Also, would be nice to have a water dispenser within the spa and not outside near the toilets. I still enjoyed it and found it relaxing. We hope to come back to this beautiful hotel once it has been refurbished. I hope the staff you have will be retained as they are truly wonderful!! So refreshing to see the same staff that worked at the hotel last year. As a side note, this hotel is not really suitable for children 1+ Not much for them to do in the hotel and resort. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so wonderful ❤️

Back for the 4th time and, as always, absolute perfection! The staff are soo helpful and friendly, special mention to Sevillano and Aliou who always remember us and even our drinks order! Food is the best all inclusive we have been to. The hotel is closed now for major refurbishment and we cannot wait to go back in January to see how they’ve improved perfection!
