The hotel is very well appointed with excellent facilities. The food was of very high quality and the service was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This certainly felt like paradise and very hard to leave at the end of our holiday. But we will be back !

This hotel is wonderful. The quality of the food is very good and, if you stay, do book the Japanese restaurant at least once. Great products and choice even for people on all-inclusive. Staff are numerous and attentive. I udnerstand it is to close soon for refurbishment, it is a little dark in places. My one criticism is that it is not easy to find your way around, signage could be better.

Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace. We visited this hotel which is in the south of the island, about an easy hours drive from the main airport. We hired a car so that we could explore the island and went half board to facilitate this. Be warned parking can be difficult near the hotel even with the hotels designated parking area. We have used the half board option at AI resorts all over Europe, but found this hotel differed from most AI resorts. Before you take either AI or half board check carefully to see what it does or doesn’t include, as this hotel operates on a “Ryanair” model in some areas. A big plus are the numerous Brita water units delivering free still or sparkling water, with glass carafes available in your room. The hotel predominantly caters for German guests with just a few other nationalities to include English and French. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are modern (think Ikea with a twist), spacious, spotlessly clean and regularly serviced. We had a ground floor room with patio looking down onto a vast clean sandy beach and the ocean. Be aware that the beach sun beds and shades are charged at €15 a day. The pool area has lots of sun beds as they are rammed into the area with centimetres between each bed, but there were no sun beds on our patio which we would have loved just to have for a bit of sun and privacy. Beach towels can only be changed in two short windows during the day which can be inconvenient. The buffet is absolutely outstanding with a vast selection of top quality products beautifully presented. However the restaurant has the ambiance of works canteen and you often have to queue to even gain access in the 2 hour slot you have to adhere to. The excellent Japanese restaurant is also a theatrical treat and well worth a visit. There are some rather outdated rules in the restaurant as men have to wear closed shoes and long trousers for dinner, but women can turn up in anything they want ! It’s was interesting to observe some of the items worn by men that allowed them to adhere to the rules ! We had understood that this hotel was an adults only resort, however we were woken early every morning (06.30) by a child/baby crying in the room next to us and there were high chairs and babies/children in the restaurant ? The hotel was refurbished in 2016 and is now in need a a bit of TLC and more lifts would be an advantage, as they are small and well used because the hotel has a total of 8 floors. This hotel calls itself 5 star but after a 36 year career that took me to hotels all over the world and many years travelling for pleasure, I would place it as an aspiring 4 Star - so no we will not be visiting again as there are many other hotels that offer us so much more !

Apologies for the late review but had another amazing holiday in February. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The food is a high standard with themed nights. We stayed AI and were never without a drink or snacks. The location of this hotel is peaceful with beautiful surrounded by a stunning beach. We have booked again and look forward to visiting in 2026.

From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff was friendly and welcoming.serving fizz and carrying our bags. Nothing is too much trouble! Food was excellent, great choice and always piping hot. Meats grilled to order were fantastic, as was the pasta made to order. Great selection of drinks and great white Rioja. Also nice to have a mini bar and room service available. I love that there are water machines everywhere, a glass carafe in your room to top up and topped up our water bottles all the time. The only suggestion I’d make is to have more indoor seating in the bar, every night we had to perch at the bar until a seat became available. Which was fine but not ideal. Drinks and snacks were great but sometimes the table service wasn’t as good as in the day. We had a swim up room which was lovely. Bit odd that it’s by the main pool but as the sun was the opposite way it didn’t cause any privacy issues. As others have mentioned, there’s no sun after about 2pm but worked perfect for us, we sunbathed after breakfast then had lunch and went out or went to the gym which is very well equipped. Make sure you book the teppanyaki restaurant. Food is superb and, it’s so much fun! The housekeeping staff came by at least three times a day to check if we needed anything and turned down our beds at night. Great hotel, I’d highly recommend!
