This is a lovely hotel and the position right next to a long sandy beach is perfect. We had a totally relaxing week with excellent food and a sea view room from which we enjoyed daily spectacular sunrises. The staff were without exception first class. There seemed to be plenty of daytime activities but we just wanted to walk on the beach and relax. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the pool was not really noticeably heated - my husband braved it a couple of times but it was too cold for me.

Klasse Hotel, Super Essen und sehr Sauber! Das Personal ist mega freundlich und zuvorkommen! Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und Sauber. All inclusive kann ich nur jedem empfehlen der her kommt. Büffet ist sehr lecker und alles wurde Frisch auf Anfrage zubereitet.

Absolutely fantastic experience at this excellent 5* hotel. I'd previously stayed at the 4* Gaviotas Park and the 4* Gaviotas Playa so wanted to see how this one measured up. It exceeded expectations for the following reasons: - Fantastic selection of drinks including top shelf spirits. - Amazing food for an all inclusive. I am very fussy but was incredibly impressed by the flavour, presentation and variety at all times. The Japanese is a good evening with freshly cooked steak and prawns on the grill. Always a selection of at least 3 fish and 3 meats on the grill in the main restaurant. Definitely the best hotel food I've had on the island. - location is 50 metres to a beautiful stretch of beach. Stunning. - all staff I encountered were friendy, professional, engaging and most of all they all looked happy to be there and serving the guests. Contrast this to the Fuerteventura Princess up the road where most of the staff looked like they'd rather be anywhere else when I stayed there. Credit to the Iberostar management for training their staff to a high standard. Other bits of info: There is a small commercial centre about 10 minutes walk away - a Spar supermarket is there and is well stocked. It's about a 20 minute walk into town, probably takes longer if doing the walk along the beach. Probably 30/40 minutes to Morro Jable. I had a Seaview room and the view was incredible (see photo). Cleaned to a high standard, mini-bar restocked daily (part of the AI) and an evening turndown service where you could have fresh towels if you wanted. There are activities in the day, can't comment on what they were like as didn't partake. Different types of entertainment in the evening ranging from acrobats to bands. Either in the theatre or on the terrace. Saw a couple of good bands, never bothered going in the theatre but it looked big with lots of seats. The transfer with Jet2 roughly takes about 1.5 hours and is probably the most annoying part with multiple stops. A taxi would from the airport is approximately €120 one way. It might save you some time getting a cab and be a bit more comfortable but the coach is free, however annoying it is. I personally loved this hotel, best place I've stayed on the island (beats Secrets Bahia on location and Riu Tres Islas on food/drinks). Yes, it's not cheap but I think you get what you pay for and am looking to return assuming the bank balance allows it. An absolute cast-iron 5* recommendation from me.

Habitué des Iberostar et autre Riu pour l'excellente qualité dans tous les registres, la gastronomie, le confort, la gentillesse, l'animation, etc ... il est regrettable de constater, ici et ailleurs, que l'interdiction de réserver des chaises longues ne soit pas appliquée ... Certes l'incivilité fait dorénavant partie du comportement d'un bon nombre d'entre-nous, toutes nationalités confondues, ... mais cette interdiction clairement affichée, doit être l'objet d'une réflexion et d'une mesure où le respectueux touriste ne serait pas pénalisé par l'égoïsme et l'incorrection d'une population indélicate.

Porqué no volveremos... Una relación de diez sucesos que descalifican a un verdadero hotel de 5* 1.- Entramos a las 20 horas, veníamos cansados, habíamos salido a las 11,30 de la mañana con transbordo incluido. Llevábamos dos maletas grandes y dos medianas. Ni un solo empleado del hotel apareció para ayudarnos, por supuesto nadie nos acompañó a la habitación. En recepción nos dijeron que se habían ido. 2.- Tema amenities. No digo que nos deberían poner diariamente, eso sería demasiado. En los seis días que estuvimos no nos trajeron ni un solo artículo.. Ni tan siquiera un gorro de baño de plástico de diez céntimos. Tuve que apuntar unos localizadores para conseguir las tarjetas de embarque y no había en la habitación un solo papel ni lápiz ni boli. menos mal que bajé a recepción y me dejaron un bolígrafo, tomaron el número de la habitación por si no lo devolvía. La hoja de papel me la regalaron. 3.- No querrás cambiar las costumbres de toda una vida en seis días. Desde que éramos niños hemos bebido agua de manantial embotellada. Imposible conseguir un agua que no fuera la filtrada por Culligan. Intentamos beberla el primer día pero la diferencia con un agua mineral de calidad era palpable, al menos para nosotros. Me pareció patético ir por los pasillos con una botella de vidrio para llenarla en una máquina. El primer día la máquina no funcionaba y tuve que ir a otra planta. No repetimos la experiencia al abastecernos de agua en un supermercado. 4.- Zona de aparcamiento insuficiente. Tienes que hartarte de paciencia hasta que tienes la suerte de encontrar una plaza. 5.- En la habitación estábamos a unos 20ºC. Acostumbrados a tener una temperatura ambiente en nuestra casa y trabajo de 22º, teníamos frio. Bajé a recepción para ver si era posible subir la temperatura, lo habíamos intentado sin resultados. Me dijeron que no era posible, que el aire acondicionado solo enfriaba y no había la opción de calefacción. La recepcionista nos ofreció una solución, que nos dejarían un par de mantas porque tampoco disponían de calefactores eléctricos. 6.- Piscinas no climatizadas. Temperatura fría, en comparación a otros hoteles de similar categoría. Era lo esperado después de todo. 7.- En la recepción el día de la entrada nos dieron dos tarjetas para conseguir toallas en la zona de piscinas. Tuvimos que discutir con el encargado porque solamente nos daba una toalla por hamaca. Le explicamos que habíamos visto que eran cortas y no cubrían toda la superficie de las hamacas. Con mala educación nos añadió dos más. Después nos enteramos por un trabajador que ese servicio estaba contratado a otra empresa. De ahí se explica que a la hora de comer no hubiera servicio y que a partir de las cuatro de la tarde no puedas devolverlas, con el incordio de tener que llevártelas a la habitación. 8.- En cuanto al apartado comidas, el buffet tiene bastante variedad y calidad. Our 3rd consecutive all inclusive February visit to this lovely gem of a hotel. We emailed the hotel prior to our visit to request a quiet room and say that we were coming to celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, sadly and unusually we didn’t get a reply. Our easyJet flight left on time from Gatwick, however we had to divert and make an urgent landing in Porto (Portugal) due to a medical incident on board. It must be said, the easyJet crew handled the situation extremely professionally and the pilots did a fantastic job in getting the aircraft safely on the ground, as fast as possible with the gentlest of landings. A big pat on the back for easyJet dealing with this distressing incident so well. Hope the poorly passenger made it. Our last visit (5* review 15/2/24), I made a couple of suggestions for improvements, one was for a private transfer rather than the 2 hour bus journey. We were delighted to be transferred by car from airport to hotel, this was so much more comfortable and relaxing, arriving in under an hour. The transfer team at the airport were very well organised and had us on our way right away, brilliant. Arriving at the hotel, the wonderful relaxing feeling returned to us straight away, easy informative check in with a welcome glass of bubbles. Our room was basic (6420), very clean, facing the carpark, that’s what we paid for, it was lovely and quiet. Throughout the week our room was cleaned to a very high standard and minibar topped up every day. The wristbands incorporating the room key were fantastic, no forgetting the credit card type key this holiday, it worked perfectly too, a great improvement. We enjoyed the activities, especially the aqua gym, joining in everyday a perfect workout to build an appetite for lunch. Last year the gym was well equipped but lacked a rowing machine, this was my second request from last year. To my delight they had provided not one but two rowers. Well done management. For us the hotel has a great mix of everything, the food was great perhaps I was unlucky, but found some of the roasts this year were a tad fatty with not much meat on the served portion, however there are certainly enough superb dishes to choose from. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and everything is beautifully presented. The efforts by the kitchen/waiting staff was most appreciated. The Japanese restaurant was again very good, entertaining, food and wine delicious. The evening entertainment was good, not quite as good as previous years, but still enjoyable in the marvellous cavernous theatre, great drinks service too. Without exception, all the staff were very pleasant and professional a great team that ensure a smooth and perfect holiday… We are young at heart early 60s and do enjoy the peaceful vibe of the hotel, we were sold the holiday from easyJet, as for being “Just for Adult’s” this was not the case.
