The hotel was very quiet and clean. Rooms and bathroom were clean and very spacious. The window on the 4th floor opened a few inches for fresh air, and the beds and bedding were very comfortable with heavy, fluffy pillows. Breakfast was ok with the powdered eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, toast, bagels, oatmeal with fruit and nut toppings, waffle maker, and yogurt etc. Hotel had one washer and dryer and quite a line of users.

Not a bad hotel, a bit overpriced for the area. Room had a weird smell, we couldn’t figure out what it was, maybe cleaning agents. Beds were comfortable, and clean. Make sure to pull the curtains at night, they have surrounded this hotel parking lot with so many lights, it is like daylight outside at night. I wonder if it was a high crime area? Area seemed nice, we walked over to Walmart and to the mall. There is an Applebees close too. Breakfast was ok not great standard fare. Waffles eggs and sausage. Yogurt selection milk and juice and some cereal.

Tornado hell
I generally like staying here!! But bad weather knocked out the power and they were too cheap to have a backup generator. You would think that what they charge to stay there they would be prepared for tornados and high winds! So had to hang in lobby most of the night! Still no power in the morning, so no breakfast, no shower cuz they ran out of hot water! Our plans got canceled so decided to leave and was told we couldn't get a refund either because they can't control the weather which I understand but they could have refunded my 2nd night because that was well in the cancelation time frame! I will not stay there again!

Very convenient to I90. Clean, welcoming rooms. Staff was friendly & helpful. Jamestown isn't a big place so the Fairfield was 10 to 15 mins from anywhere we went.
