This lodge is in the perfect location to visit Big South Fork, Pickett State Park, and Pouge Creek Canyon.

This is the third time that a couple of my friends and I have come and stayed here with our horses. We have the best time and so do the horses! Lots of trails to ride out nearby. And some just across the street. Laid-back and has everything you need we stay in the room with the kitchenette and bring all of our food and that works out great! we look forward to our next day next year!

The Big South Fork Lodge was perfect for my stay. The location was exactly where I wanted to be. The room I stayed in was cozy, as well as extremely clean and tidy. Traveling alone keeps me on my toes and observant, but I felt very safe at this location. Becky was also very kind in lending me some of her hiking books and map, so that I was prepared to head out the next morning for some hiking before I headed home. A very hospitable stay and definitely somewhere that would be at the top of my list to stay again when I return to the area.

We have stayed with Becky and Billy several times. Stalls are nice, free wood shavings are provided, and there is good access to water. Very nice!

We stayed here for 2 nights, with 4 people. Rooms were immaculate and spacious. The bathroom was large and the showers were wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. Our room had a microwave, small fridge and a single serve coffee maker. We loved the rockers on the front porch and the view of the horses across the street. The owner was very nice and helpful with recommendations to local restaurants and things to do in the area. We thought it was a great location to all the hiking trials, to James, TN and Oneida, TN. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third time staying at Big South Fork Lodge and we still very much enjoy it. The rooms are clean, lovely amenities, pet friendly (most important to us), safe area and quiet. We look forward to staying again in the future.
