Luxury at its pinnacle. The sheer magnificence of Suryagarh had us in awe. The royalty of the walls was deeply echoed in the splendid services offered with the warmest smile of the staff. There’s nothing that this hotel lacks - except maybe the beach (which is impossible, being in Rajasthan). We are made to feel what it means to live like Kings. From the Khamma Ghani to the personalized Rajasthani “Geet” sung beautifully for our kids, each experience will remain etched in our minds for a very very long time. Lavish breakfasts, delightful sweets like the boondi and Rose and Date Barfis made in house….the food is on a level of superiority rarely seen elsewhere. Every single facility is next level awesome!

We had an ultra luxurious stay at Suryagarh Jaisalmer. The property is newly build and has maintained their reputation of being one of the best hotels in India. The check-in was smooth. We had been offered an upgraded room. Every nooks and corners of this vast property proclaim a sense of balance in respect of asthetic delight and a good taste of immaculate colour combination. The food was delicious. Special thanks to Simran at the fine dine restaurant for a memorable dining experience. Manisha, who gave us the property tour. She was amazing. Thanks to Mr. Devishankar ji for his assistance. We loved his company while experiencing the grandeur of Suryagarh. A highly recommended hotel for both family and solo travelers. The evening cultural event was extremely entertaining. As we were celebrating our marriage anniversary, they gone extra mile to make it memorable for us. The lovely cake, the personalized letters, specially arranged sweets... all these ensured a wonderful stay at Suryagarh, Jaisalmer.

This is a quite extraordinary hotel. It is new built but in the style of a large fort. Entering between two cannon and driving under the portcullis you driver through beautiful gardens to reach the grand entry where they beat the drums in welcome. Anoushka greeted us extremely warmly and helped us to a welcome drink and snacks and then introduced us to the hotel. A cozy but airy bar, a very modern gym which was always assiduously attended to by an excellent personal trainer with a remarkably smart moustache. The pool is covered but is open to the outside. This is necessary because the sun is FIERCE!!! We were upgraded to a suite for one night and then paid extra to be upgraded to their sumptuous suite with a rooftop small plunge pool with a dining area, sitting area, bedroom and massive bathroom with a double aspect. The roof was sheltered by two awnings and the plunge pool was a welcome relief although it could have been cleaned on the second morning. We watched the brilliant musicians from the roof with a sundowner and the dancing which was tremendous. When I walked to breakfast I wondered why such a great hotel would be playing piped music well, they weren’t and but it was a flautist sitting in a window playing. It was super and quite the nicest touch on the way to brecky. The food was delicious and service solicitous at breakfast with spicy marsala omelettes as requests and great mixtures of Chaat by the chef of the day. We also had the buffet supper which was excellent and wide ranging and did two nights of in room dining - well in our in room dining room. The service was great and the food really well spiced and the breads very well cooked. The hotel is ably managed by Mr Singh and he and his staff gave us a magical stay. It aint cheap and they know how to charge but it is worth it. We had a gorgeous stay and would return in a jiffy.
