Was nice place … but lightning needs to be adjusted .., as people who come in evening cannot take proper pictures of the beautiful place …. Everything was nice but not upto the mark to how much they are chart for a night stay

We have travelled to over 40 countries as a family in the past 15 years and we planned a trip to Suryagarh, Jaisalmer. We are a large family and took 4 rooms. We had kids of all ages ***** with the oldest member of the family who is 83 years old. The beauty and overall experience of any property comes from the top management and the hotel reflects the personality of Ms. Kripalini Singh. Top notch management. Everything at the hotel was executed and operated at the highest possible level. The restaurants and food was great. Breakfast was outstanding. The way everything was displayed one could clearly see that each and everything was curated and taken care for. There are activities available throughout the day for kids and adults. A minimum 3 day stay is required to truly enjoy the property. You do not have to step out of the property for anything. The animal farm maintained within the property is a highlight. The spa is great and well staffed. All the other areas of the property are brand new and well maintained. I would like to thank once again Ms. Kripalini Singh and the management at the hotel for beautifully running such a property. We will definitely return back. Suryagarh is a traditional Rajasthani cultured hotel. As of these days udaipur and Jaipur has more tourism , but if someone prefers more calm and peace , this is the right place for vacation. Staff are very friendly and kind. There are horses , dogs ,camel some more animals. The property is almost 100acres and expansion is going on.

It’s an over hyped property. Of course 1 of the best in a dessert like Jaisalmer. But considering the city has limited activities to offer, the hotel could’ve been made much more engaging. The furniture is basic, food options limited but prices are over the top.

Hotel has very nice vibe. Food is very good, especially their six course meal. Also like the fact that the hotel is animal friendly.
Service can improve a lot. I got their confirmation for airport pickup, however, no show. They didn’t even acknowledge the miss. They simply miss simple things like straws for lemonade. The bedroom and bathroom configuration is not good. Their HVAC never worked as intended throughout our stay - either too hot or too cold

Suryagarh redefined my take on luxury and its guest service is one of the best I have experienced so far. Having been a seasoned traveller and possesing a penchant for luxury stays, Suryagarh truly impressed me with its unparalled grandeur and impeccable service. A special mention must go to Mr Suresh who took the extra length in delivering a cake to celebrate my birthday during my stay. Truly the heartwarming gesture and warmth of the staff touched me. In addition, the food quality and diversity amazed me and my mother and I had our fill to hearts' content during our stay. My choice of stay in Jaisalmer would be only Suryagarh in future trips. Thank you for making a great memory for me!
