"Our stay was okay, we booked for two nights but we were unable to check in on the first night due to unforeseen weather conditions from Nusa Penida, so we lost out on a night and the hotel couldn’t help us. Despite that the staff were friendly and the room was comfy"

"Hotel is in a great location and staff were friendly and super helpful. Although, we skipped the breakfast option, they wanted AUD$30pp per day (incl for a 5 year old). We got breakfast for half price at a hotel down the road. We asked for a late check out, they wanted USD$150 for an additional 5 hours? We passed on this of course. Unable to review villas as we stayed in a standard room, this was along way from the main area, with the lift down for maintenance half of the time. Pool area smelt bad in one area due to rubbish bins. For sone reason they have specific 4 digit numbers on each pool towel rather than just handing back the 3 you borrowed, they natch the numvers before letting uou go? The pool and pool bar area needs a refiurbishment. We wouldm't stay there again."

"The service staff are awesome, friendly, always smiling which makes my day and willing to help where they can. The tourist guide Jo helped me out as I was looking for a Taylor and he took me to one. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — An Unforgettable Glamping Experience We just checked out of Black Lava Camp and I’m already missing it! We stayed in Potato 9 with the private outdoor bath and toilet, and it was absolutely worth every penny. Waking up to the sweeping views of Mount Batur right from our room — and soaking in the outdoor bath with that same backdrop — was nothing short of magical. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodations were comfortable, well-maintained, and had that perfect blend of rustic glamping charm with just enough modern comfort. The views here are truly in a league of their own. No photo does it justice — you just have to experience it yourself. If you’re visiting Kintamani, don’t think twice. Book Potato 9 if you can. We will 100% be back!"

"The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom with the shower was also large. However, the service was very subpar. As a solo female traveler with two suitcases, one of which was large, the staff member just left it in the middle of the doorway. I was waiting for a car right by the door, maybe a meter away. There were also many electric scooters right outside, and when I tried to bring my luggage in, they were blocking the way, and no one offered to help, even though the road was very close. The room slippers weren't disposable; they were those thong-style sandals that others had clearly worn, so I didn't use them. That was very inconvenient. There wasn't even soap or hand wash, which I needed to wash my hands before putting in my contact lenses. I really minded that. The door was very close to the pool, and there was absolutely no soundproofing. There was a group of men smoking right outside, and as a solo woman, I didn't feel very safe. The service also lacked any proper procedure. It was terrible. I will never stay at this hotel again in my life. Locking the door with the key was also inconvenient; you had to align both doors perfectly and force them together, which wasted so much of my time and effort. I've never encountered such an issue anywhere else I've stayed. The environment itself was decent, but everything else was bad. The electric kettle was very dirty, so I ended up going out to buy water. I will never come back here again. I'd rather pay a bit more for a much better experience. Also, the pool was deep, and I can only swim in shallow areas, which wasn't accommodating for me. I will never return. This was the worst experience I've had in 10 days. Kuta is really commercial, expensive, and has terrible service. Other areas are much more friendly and service-oriented."

"Excellent hotel that is well located in Sanur. Beautiful and clean pool full length of the building. Staff were amazing and really friendly. Very clean room with really comfy and large bed, we even had a jacuzzi on the balcony. Probably the best hotel breakfast we have had with many fresh to order options."

"Originally, I was scheduled to stay in the Oka Suite for 5 days. It had a bathtub and was very reasonably priced. However, the bathtub stopper was broken, so I couldn't enjoy it at all. I struggled with it for two hours, but finally gave up and told the hotel staff the next day. It seemed that it was broken from the start, and I was honestly considering canceling. However, thanks to the owner's kindness, I was upgraded to the Ellena Resort. The bathtub was very nice and the location was excellent. However, there isn't much around, so you'll need Grab Food or you can take a 10-minute bike ride to a convenience store, restaurant, or cafe. However, they charge a service fee, so Grab Food is recommended. If you're with family, you can also have breakfast at the hotel. I wanted to eat something that suited my physical condition, so I used Grab Food. The hotel staff were very friendly, but at night, since I was directly below the reception, the sound of chairs being pulled was a bit bothersome. There was also a staff room right in front of me, so the smell of cigarette smoke was constant. That was the only downside, but I think it's a very nice place."

One of the highlights of the stay was the yoga classes with a breathtaking sea view. Practicing yoga while overlooking the ocean was an unforgettable experience. Relaxing near the water afterward made it even more special. The food deserves special praise. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional, with delicious, high-quality dishes and a wide variety of options. Every meal felt like a culinary experience. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. The entire team operates like one big family warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality elevates the whole experience to another level. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quiet luxury, exceptional service, and total relaxation."

"We stayed at the Modern Bamboo Tree House Magical. It felt like camping in the jungle, an extraordinary experience. The rooms have no walls, giving you an open feeling like you're outdoors. The bedrooms have mosquito nets, which created a fun tent-like atmosphere. However, rooms with walls are also available, so you can choose the one that suits your preferences. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a special experience in Ubud."
