Location: Highly praised for its scenic, secluded setting near hiking trails, ski resorts, and cross-country ski centers in a picturesque, quaint area of New Hampshire.

The Inn itself is lovely. It's located in a part of New Hampshire that is very quaint and picturesque. Nestled in between a ski mountain and cross country ski center, the Inn has small, comfortable rooms that look up towards the ski lifts. The rooms are modestly furnished but clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant is staffed by friendly employees who take the time to ask about your day and interests. For the money I paid to stay at this location, I'd recommend it for any couple on a journey to the White Mountains and aiming to keep within a budget as well.

We got married at Whitney's in 2022. The venue is a lovely little mountain retreat. They do almost everything, food, bar, and space for your guests to stay right on site. It's been 3 years and friends and family still rave about the fun they had at our wedding. The ceremony space by the brook is so romantic, and intimate feeling. We recently re-visited because they had a Second Honeymoon event. The event was lovely. We had champagne in the room waiting when we arrived, we had delicious house-made chocolate covered strawberries, and a romantic gift basket. The following day we got to explore where we said "I do", and spend time together in the Jackson/Conway area. We visited the spa at the Christmas Inn, and had a very relaxing, very affordable hand and arm treatment. The spa was lovely, low key, and had delicious tea and flavored water available. At the provided Second Honeymoon dinner/cocktail hour, there was wonderful company, food, music, and even a romantic little dance. The steak tips were AMAZING. The bartender knows how to make a good, well balanced aperol spritz. Everything was personalized. The little touches were so very appreciated. Everyone on staff makes you feel like an old friend, there's no pretentious attitude in the building. Whitney's, please continue this Second Honeymoon event. It was an honor to be a part of the first one ever. The romance of being back in the place you got married, and being able to reminisce with each other and the other couples felt so very special. I wish other couples the opportunity to be part of such a special event. Couples looking to get married, you will not regret getting married at this beautiful, low key, fun and so very special venue.

We stayed at the Whitney for 4 nights, mid- week. Our room ( a king) was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of bureau and closet space and two comfortable chairs for reading. Although the breakfast was just a grab and go, with muffins, coffee and orange juice it was enough to get us out on the x-country trails early. Sarah, the manager was wonderful! She was friendly and answered any questions we had. We liked that the inn was a short drive to Prospect Farms - our favorite trails. We also liked that you can take the Betty Whitney Trail and connect with the Wave and other trails at Eagle Mountain Fields. We did that one day and it was easy and beautiful in the snow. It also was great having dinner at the Shovel Handle Pub which is connected to the inn. It is a beautiful old barn with lots of character. The food was decent pub fare.

no onsite dining during our stay. This would probably be an excellent place to stay during ski season, but summer not so much. It was quiet, pool was spotless, room less so. Bed middling comfortable. VERY limited breakfast: packaged muffins, granola bars, oj in plastic bottles, no tea at all; and none offered in room. They did have excellent iced tea in the lobby in afternoon. I used my mobile hotspot so cannot comment on WIFI. TV service went out. If you want absolute basic accomodations, this is your spot, otherwise, there are several lovely places in Jackson.

Booked this room because it claimed to have dining room, bar, and pool table. They didn't mention they would be closed the day oi was there.

second thoughts Room was very small especially the bathroom, shower was hard to figure out so I called the emergency # so that went well, When checking out however, it was 8:15am there was no one at the front desk so we loaded up our car came back in and waited a little bit but had other things to do saw that you already charged my account and there was other room keys sitting on the checkout desk,so we left ours at 8:30am, then I receive a text that we were not to just leave our keys on the desk, I was at a wedding so I responded and told them that other keys were there so I left mine we were told that someone would be at the desk at 8am and they were not there! I called & asked if they wanted me to go back after the wedding ? I would have but got no response, I am now home so if you need to get a hold of me please call! Thank you Franciska Pomerleau
