這是一家傳統日式和現代服務結合的高端度假酒店，酒店佔地面積很大，有別墅和日式房間的房型，面積都超大，全部依河而建，這裏曾經是近代日本東京名流度假，聚會休閑的高端場所，有許多幾十年前的建築和老物件。室內温泉和公共温泉都不錯，室外温泉能夠深切感受到酒店的經營理念，人與自然的深度融合。

前から気になっていたお宿。 東京ドーム2個分の敷地に吉奈川が流れていて、建物内の橋や、古い橋が２か所あり、本館、西館の他に藁ぶき屋根のレストラン棟、大正時代の建物のラウンジ、ベーカリー、川沿いのテラスなど満載！ 温泉も5っつの風呂があり2つは貸切温泉。 修善寺駅からのシャトルバスで到着。 まずは天井の高い柱や梁が素晴らしい雰囲気の玄関棟でチェックイン。 部屋からは設えられた日本庭園が見えます。 敷地内の地図を見ながら散策。 敷地の中を散策するだけで楽しめます。 時間によって男女入れ替わる露天風呂へ。 緑の木々を楽しめる温泉を楽しんだ後は、喉を潤すためにラウンジへ。 ビールやスパークリングワインを頂きました。 それぞれ材料の吟味された食材を使った手の込んだ料理の数々を楽しんだあとは、マイクロバスで蛍の見られる場所へ！ これが一番のお楽しみ。 宿より上流の吉奈川の橋の上から、漆黒の闇に黄緑色に光る蛍を見ることが出来ました。 宿にもどり、予約していた貸し切り風呂へ。 お万の方が子宝を授かるために湯治した「子宝の湯」へ。 朝食前に富士見平へ散歩。 お万の庭から往復1時間の散歩。 うっすらと富士山が見えました。 大正館の2階のレトロな雰囲気の中で洋朝食。 こちらも贅沢な時間を過ごす事が出来ました。 朝食後は、ベーカリーでパンやフルーツケーキのお土産を買い、ラウンジで、結婚記念日を祝して乾杯！ テレビっ子ですが、こちらではテレビを見る暇がないほど充実した時間を過ごせました。 そう考えると、コスパ最高！ また来たい宿の一つになりました。

秋の風情を感じる懐石料理は、季節の彩りと素材の味を贅沢に楽しめる内容でした。食前酒の梅酒から始まり、前菜の鮑チーズ焼きや蟹袱祇紗玉子など、一品一品が繊細で美しい盛り付け。特に鱧葛叩きの椀は松茸の香りが広がり、秋の深まりを感じさせます。金目鯛の煮付けは甘辛い味わいで、伊豆の名物として存在感を放ちました。特選牛ヒレの陶板焼きは胡麻ダレと相性抜群で、締めの地鶏と茸の釜飯が季節感をさらに引き立てます。食事の最後には、季節の果物や栗ぜんざいが甘さ控えめで締めくくりにぴったりでした。
