My husband and I went to Ixtapa Barcelo for our Honeymoon. We were both so exhausted when we got here I thought we would sleep the entire time. Much to our delight we enjoyed the hospitality so much at the Barcelo that we went on excursions and snorkels and played each and every day. We go back refreshed and ready to take on the world with smiles to light the winter skies in Canada. Much gratitude to the devoted staff at the Barcelo. We will return!

Jazmin and the entertainment team was asome. She truly make our stay worth. She keeps us informed about everything. She truly deserved to be named employee of the month. Very respectful, nice and friendly. Highly appreciated and kind young lady. Ixtapa in ge real is great but with people like Jazmín the experience become VIP

My name is Ari. I enjoyed my vacations in Barcelo Ixtapa due to the many activities you could participate, during the day and at night. The staff are good persons and make you have a good time. I like my room, the food and the drinks. They also have a club to dance at night, a gym, tenis and basquetball courts, and others excellent places. I definitely going to visit again Barcelo Ixtapa. Have a good day. Recomiendo mucho Barcelo Ixtapa. Me la pase en todas las actividades de dia y noche, muy agradable y divertido. La playa esta bonita. El personal me cayo muy bien. Buena musica, shows, bebidas, comida. En general, me gusto todo. Que tengas buen día.

First time staying in the Barcelo hotels and experience was not bad but not great, hotel needs some improvements but overall, I will definitely stay here again

The food and lack of pool service was very disappointing. We enjoyed the Beautiful beach and friendly staff. We’ll likely stay somewhere else next time.

My family and I had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the premium rooms. They we quite large with excellent quality beds and bedding. The view was spectacular with beautiful sunsets every night. The SPA was excellent, we had pedicures, massages, and men's haircuts. The service was like mom other. Their was never a shortage of beverages, wine, cocktail etc. The food was good with many choices. The Italian restaurant was excellent. The lobby is open air with plenty of seating areas to enjoy a drink. The pools are large and relaxing. There's easy access to the beach footsteps away from the pool.

The hotel delivers in every detail. I traveled during hot weather so I wish the AC was blasting but wasn't bad enough to be upset. Overall I fell in love with Barcelo and am already planning my next trip. Definately need 5 plus days.

My experience at this spa was exceptional. The spa treatments were undoubtedly the highlight of my trip. My wife was attended by Yolanda, while I received a massage from Lilly Beth, which was among the finest I have ever experienced. I look forward to returning in the future and would highly recommend this establishment to others.
