When I called ahead before my stay, the owner gave me an unexpected reply, saying, "This isn't the kind of place where a couple would normally stay. Are you sure...?" However, when I made various requests (such as being able to see Kintaikyo Bridge from the room), he kindly agreed. The meals were very ordinary, and as the owner said, not luxurious, but they were made with care, and I was able to relax in the bath. On the day of my stay, it was drizzling when I arrived, but they made sure to reserve a parking space in front of the entrance for me, showing the best hospitality."
