Akazawa Onsen Hotel Reviews

A very good onsen hotel that I recommend to visit once! The room was clean. Ukata was beautiful. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was tasty, but my daughter doesn’t like it as she is not a sea food eater. But I am! Onsen was relaxing! Breakfast with a sea view was amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel and appreciate them for accommodation!

If you plan to stay in this area, you’ll need your own transport, like a rental car. The breakfast buffet has lots of tasty options and comes with a nice sea view in the morning. The private onsen costs JPY 3,500 per hour, and the experience was excellent. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. Many local Japanese people choose this hotel for their vacations.

The place is amazing. Really like the room, big space with good Japanese tatami decorations. Food was amazing and you must really book with the dinner option. The food was great with thoughtful menu. Good vibe !

Was having high expectations for this place due to recommendation on social media. Was bit disappointing as the service n meal 🥘 menu provided is quite normal nothing out of ordinary, not as those reviews mentioned. The balcony view though is great oceanic view. Nothing much outside the resort so 1 day stay is good enough

The onsen hotel has 3 buildings and each has their own onsens. We went to the day tripper onsen, which is the best. The onsen at main building (roof top) is small with only one bath space and the wall is covered with mould. Dinner and breakfast were good. The hotel is near jogashaki coast and mt omuro, about 20 mins drive. We booked a room with private onsen and enjoyed it thoroughly

The hotel has a shuttle bus to Izu Kogen Station. Although the room facilities are a bit old, it is large enough facing the sea. I happened to be able to make an appointment for the private hot spring on the top floor of the hotel for the two nights I stayed there. It was very cost-effective and it was very comfortable to take a bath every night 😝

Avoid this hotel. The view of the deluxe Japanese-style room chosen by a family of five looks like this from the pictures. I was completely deceived by the hotel pictures. The price is more than 6,000 yuan. I came all the way to see the trees. The sea on the third floor can hardly be seen. The room is very old and dark. Here comes the point. If the room selection does not write the main building, it is always the South Building. The South Building has only four floors. This room is 301. The room is big, but there is no view. The front desk is Japanese, named Ishiwada X, and the attitude is very bad. Obviously, he has no good feelings towards Chinese people. Whatever I ask, it is not allowed. The experience is very bad.

I love this hotel! There is a direct hotel shuttle bus from Izu Kogen Station. The hotel environment is very good. I woke up in the morning to the sound of waves and birds. The room is very large. The private bath on the top floor is really recommended. I feel relaxed after taking a bath!

Good things: There is a shuttle bus, which can be seen when you exit the south exit of Izu Kogen Station, and it is very punctual. The scenery is beautiful, the private bath on the 7th floor is only 3,300 yen per hour, and there are billiards, bowling, and mahjong halls. Bad things: I found a big cockroach in the room on the first night... I tried to call a taxi several times during the day, but couldn't get a taxi. I started queuing for a seat at around 7:30 for breakfast.

It was a wonderful experience to be able to see the endless ocean from the hot spring bath. The breakfast buffet and dinner were also delicious.
