Stayed here with my wife and our 3 year old toddler in August 2025. We stayed in one of the electric king suites. This was our first time glamping, but we absolutely loved it and would love to come back soon. The tent was lovely: large enough for us to fit completely comfortably. The bathrooms were not too far, and they were very clean. We absolutely loved the breakfast in the morning, building campfires, having smores at night, playing bocce and other games in the main tent. All of the staff and guests were very friendly. There is a trailhead in the campground for the nearby state park, plus lots of other great options to explore the parks, trails, and waterfalls around Ithaca. Plus, it's really a short trip into town. One last thing: the electric tent came with plenty of outlets, lamps, and even a heater.

We came to celebrate a 60th birthday party and Firelight delivered. The staff is knowledgeable of the area and friendly. The tents are spacious and comfortable. It’s was a little chilly when we were there and they gave us free water bottles for our bed and had hand and feet packets warmers for free. Included are s’mores tokens so free s’mores for each person. And don’t worry they also have the sticks. Communal and individual fire pits were nice. Buttermilk trail entrance is on the property. Loved the breakfast (especially the muffins) and the lounge area, which sells charcuterie type foods, drinks, crackers and merch. The bar has a nice wine and beer selection as well as soft drinks. The facilities are extremely clea, the camp is peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We loved: - The kind and helpful staff. - The gorgeous setting. - The sound of rain pitter pattering on our tent top. - The fire that we started in the fire pit with the provided firewoods and fire-starting kit. - The marshmallow kit they gave us at checkin. - The very cozy, very lovely “lobby” tent. - The free coffee and tea and sometimes fruits all day long. We missed: - Being able to charge our phones and devices in our rooms. - Not having to walk far away for bathroom in the middle of the night. - Having towels that would actually dry throughout the day. For all the things that we missed, I found that I missed them less and less as the days went on, and appreciated all that this place has to offer more and more.

We absolutely loved our stay. It’s a small campground but has everything you need. Each tent is spaced enough that we never heard anyone else. The beds were comfortable and well decorated. We loved seeing several fire pit areas. The bathroom was clean. We will be back!

At firelight camps they have amazing camping beds amazing hiking trails. They have really nice staff who can help you they have a community fire pit where you can meet people or you can request your own. The tents are amazing the beds will help you get a good night sleep. There is the buttermilk falls trail next to it that is an amazing trail to hike on!

This place is amazing. The staff is so welcoming and accomodating. The tent was clean, beautiful and spacious. Bath area was a tad famurther away from ourvtent, but the facilities were excellent. There were plenty of areas around the property to relax and enjoy nature, hammocks, pucnic tables, fire pit areas. Great trails for hiking. So close to downtown Ithaca, state parks,restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend visiting.

Noisy
The only thing that was unsatisfactory was my sleep disturbance. The smoke detector in my tent needed a new battery. It beeped every 15 min from about 1am on. At 6am when the staff came in I brought it to the reception desk. She apologized but offered no discount for my stay.
