Tolip El Forsan Resort

From the outside it's amazing, it deserves 7 stars. Buildings, tennis courts, football fields, green spaces, for sports teams and sports camps. But from the inside for the hotel guests, which is the most important thing.. unfortunately 3 stars is too much for it..dirt and disgusting, bed covers and pillows.. Regarding the hotel's rating, it's enough that it doesn't have a bathrobe or slippers. I don't know who agreed to give it 5 stars. It's considered a downfall for the Tulip brand, both in terms of cleanliness and the treatment of the staff. In short, if I were to be given a free stay again, I wouldn't agree for the sake of my health and the health of my family.

Good location, and clean facility

Very disappointing experience — not worthy of a 5-star rating. We stayed at Tolip El Forsan in Ismailia for three nights, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had in Egypt. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist greeted us with no smile, no hospitality — she seemed genuinely bothered by our presence. During check-in, she asked us to present proof of marriage — a completely inappropriate and illegal request, especially considering we are both U.S. passport holders. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Egypt and never encountered such unprofessional behavior. While in the middle of assisting us, she abruptly left to attend to another group who had just arrived, apparently involved in a photo shoot or event, leaving us standing there without a word of acknowledgment. The rooms were extremely basic and not at all reflective of the price we paid. The Wi-Fi was practically unusable, which significantly impacted my ability to work during our stay. The food was also below standard — far from what one would expect from a so-called 5-star hotel. The biggest issue, however, was the unprofessionalism of the front desk staff. With the exception of one young lady who was courteous and helpful, the rest of the team lacked any sense of hospitality or professionalism. We had originally planned to stay for a full month, but due to the poor service, we canceled our booking after three nights and moved to a nearby hotel, where the difference in treatment was night and day. I strongly advise against staying at Tolip El Forsan. There are far better options nearby where you’ll be treated with the respect and care any guest deserves.

As soon as we got our room, the sink was clogged. We called the reception three times, over about 2 hours to send someone to fix it, and they haven't, they simply apologize and do nothing, wasting precious two hours we were supposed to rest before work.

I would like to share my experience with you about one of the great friendly team worker in this place! I stayed there for the first time in Ismailia and my first experience been in tolip, I enjoyed the super clean room with sea view, sunny beach and nice pool, super friendly staff at reception thank you for all there help during my stay, food in restaurant was delicious, staff are helpful, I will definitely come back next time with my family soon. We had very high expectations owing to the layout and the interiors of the hotel. Infact, the hotel is luxurious, surrounded by beautiful greenery and offering an excellent view. However, the staff is unprofessional, the service is below average, the Wi-Fi is poor, and the food lacks variety.
