Only problem was hotel bathroom drain system old had a strong swage smell complaint made but no action taken

A very large resort a small supermarket but if not all inclusive would be a problem as to getting cabs to the local town could get expensive
Night life for kids good but adults cannot even seat outside in the evening s with a drink as pool bar closes at 6 pm
Unless you go to the payable restaurants and champs sports bar not very good if paid for all inclusive
We was in block 7 but as there are still steps to the lift if getting on a bit would be a problem as me and my wife 70 and 65 years
Overall as we had our son his wife and 3 small grandchildren but they 4 minutes walk away why we wasn’t put nearer each other one would never know but we did not book at the same time they were near the reception and dinning room but did have a few cockroaches in there room trying to use the microwave

We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo Active Resort, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The buffet restaurants had lots of variety with lovely food. The staff were friendly, especially the entertainment team, who were fantastic with the kids. We went down for sunbeds at 8.45 before it opened at 9am, there is a bit of a rush., but we got beds each day. If you like a holiday with a bit if activity for the whole family I would recommend.

Estuvimos 10 dias en el hotel alojados, - cambio de sabanas y hacer las camas, a partir del cuarto dia y porque tuvimos que denunciarlo en 2 ocasiones en recepcion. La responsble de limpiar laas habitaciones nos puso la excusa qur hay a clientes que no les gusta que les toquen los pijamas, en mi vida me habian soltado esa respuesta h de ser cierto ya lo habriamos notificado con la reserva. A la hora de hacernos la cama del niño nos rompio la cama, llamo al de mantenomiento y al ser las 3.50, hacen el cambio de turnos a las 4 no vino nadie a arreglarnos el desperfecto que nos habian hecho. Tuve que volver a recepcion,pir tercera vez, para ver que solucion nos dabam, la solucion que nos dieron cambio de habitacion, lo que quiere decis, hacer todas las maletas para cambuarnos la habitacion. Solicite hablar con el o la directora del hotel, hsble con un chico, que la verdad visto lo visto entiendo que tenga esos fallos el hotel. La comida bastante sin mas, pica variedad de un dia a otro. El personal del hotel no tenia ni idea,o eda impresion dava, de cada pulsera invluia, ya que en varias ocasiones se preguntaban si habia que cobrar o no. Por decir algo bueno del hotel, los espacios comunes estan muy bien y la animacion tambien muy bien. Barcelo.me has fallado por completo, con todos los problemas qye nos genero el personal del hotel ni um detalle. No volveria ni lo recomendaria nunca

The resort was nice although personally I wouldn't say it's an active resort especially when compared to another active resort in Lanzarote but there was some classes which were good and the entertainment staff were excellent and friendly. The food was good with plenty of choice, the services included such as WiFi were great and the place was fairly clean. Room was tidied daily and the beds were comfortable. Paid extra for a sea view room but would not classify the room as 'sea view' it's a pool view in block 1 of the hotel were you can slightly see the water beyond the trees. The rooms were clean but air-conditioning and the fridge were not very good, it didn't help that housekeeping take the electric key out each day which turned the fridge off so be careful if you need to store medication or food in the fridge. The pool is ridiculous! People start to que around the pool before it opens and literally run and throw towels to try and get a lounger. The pool opens at 9am and you will not get a lounger past 9.30am The hotel policy states sun loungers cannot be reserved and towels/personal belongings will be removed but people leave their towel on loungers all day and disappear and the staff do not remove them despite people waiting for loungers. I overheard some people ask the lifeguard about this but he just refused to do anything.

De 4 Habitaciones Reservadas...de ellas 2 dobles sucias y sin hacer en la entrega. Todas las actividades y horarios basados en los extranjeros...muy temprano todo para un español de a pie. No existe el aire acondicionado en las zonas comunes ni en los buffet..algún no logico ni para los clientes ni para los trabajadores que no es humano. Por otro lado el tema de las cucarachas por todo el hotel....y ya el colmo en zonas de buffet...terrazas bares de copas yen los servicios. En resumen han sido 10 días de vacaciones que no esperaba en un Barceló, ha sido en el peor Barceló que hemos estado, cuando mi idea y experiencia es que la cadena Barceló era una apuesta segura de éxito. Espero que se solucionen todos estos problemas y que te este hotel se coloque a la altura que la cadena Barceló se merece.

A child had an accident- this wasn’t in a pool. The “matter” could have been removed in minutes and then disinfected. Instead it took 45 minutes to cordon off the area while the “object” remained in situ . After 3.5 hours it was removed and eventually disinfected. My issue is that there was no guest experience manager available to progress this, although there are many. One rang up 5 hours later - no one knew what was happening and there were many disappointed toddlers. Then they read from the script - it’s protocol, health & safety etc. They couldn’t explain if it was 24 hours to wait after the matter was reported, the faecal matter removed or why 24 hours . Many grandparents and parents have obviously not been cleaning up properly. I understand cleaning has to be done after such an incident but these “protocols “ need examining. The bins for example were not emptied from the night before.
