This was the second trip I had made to Kenya and the accommodations just keep getting better. The people are so very kind and the food was amazing. The room was super comfortable. The staff were very helpful in getting my 89 year old mom to her room and around the property. I wish I could have stayed longer. I even got to celebrate my birthday 🎂 and was sung to in Swahili.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights inside this national reserve. The showers were hot, the service was exceptional and included a hot coffee and cookie delivery wakeup call. An armed security guard protected us during the nature hike outside the camp. We got to see the special five animals on our 2 game drives. An Elephant walked by after dinner!

Recently stayed at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp- it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the Hotel Manager Joseph and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The tents were spacious, comfortable, clean, and offering a great view of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Special thanks to our guide Steve who is very knowledgeable and shared insights about the wildlife and culture, making the game drives an amazing experience. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Special thanks to Lucy, Gideon and the rest of the team for their wonderful service. I highly recommend Samburu Intrepids - a true gem in the heart of Samburu. Looking forward to another visit.

I stayed at Samburu Intrepids with my family for two nights, and honestly, it was one of the most heartwarming experiences I've had. From the moment we arrived, we were received with so much warmth and kindness .the likes of Macharia, Lucy, Cleo, Roselyn ,Hussain etc were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. 💯 The service throughout our stay was top-notch. Whether it was at the gate, in the restaurant, or in the rooms, we were constantly checked on and made to feel comfortable. The food was amazing fresh, flavorful, and served with love. The accommodation was not only clean and cozy, but it also carried that serene touch that made it easy to relax and unwind. What stood out most was how accommodative the staff were , they made us feel like we belonged. It wasn’t just about service; it was the way they related with us, like we were part of their family. That’s a rare feeling to get while traveling. Thank you to the entire team at Samburu Intrepids for making our stay so special. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Great location within the Reserve and by the river. Food was top level restaurant standard. Staff couldn't do enough for you and were always helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Veronica, Cleo, Nicholas, Hussein, Maurice and the rest of the gang.

Samburu National Park offers a wide range of wildlife and much easier to navigate than other parks. The Intrepid Camps are clean and comfortable. Service is exceptional from food, wake up call or laundry. Their gift shop is also very reasonably priced. We love our time there… except for some naughty monkeys trying to get in our tent.

Beautiful, very comfortable spot. Service was fantastic and not overbearing but very attentive. Lodge is built by a wide river, with wood and thatch, and restaurant set up like a fine dining establishment (including multi-course meals (which you can modify if necessary) with a lovely bar. The educational center was a super highlight (not just with my 10-year old, but the adults, too). The landscape, including plentiful wildlife, intriguing plant life and buffalo spring, were extremely worthwhile. Highly recommend for individuals or groups of any composition! (Note that this was our first time in Kenya, and second camp in a 2 week trip with African Safari Trips.)
