Best place to go for unwinding. The experience is awesome. Morning sunrise, evening sunsets, animals that aren't caged. The hotel is another home away from home, if you are looking for a place to be Interpids is the place to be. Excellent and dedicated staff 👏.

An amazing trip, staff were incredible, friendly and entertaining! Special thanks to Cleo, Anastasia, Joseph, Boniface and Lawrence. Great food too, chef Mbela and lovely family room and pool. The setting is great, and we were very lucky to see a lot of game, look forward to returning!

Ottima posizione e sistemazione, personale disponibilissimo e cordialissimo, cucina eccellente. Cosa chiedere di più? Le tende sono dotate di tutti i comfort, piscina bar e ristorante alla carta con preparazioni curate e formaggi locali prelibati. Eravamo in pochi ospiti, ma il personale ci ha fatto sentire veramente coccolati.

A very friendly lodge where nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were brilliant. Excellent meals and well appointed tented cabin. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience a safari in Samburu NP. Good views of numerous animals including lions.

We are here with family, two adults, two kids, two nights. Great Location and very good food! Our waitress Anastacia was perfect! The tents are very comfortable and clean. The showers a dream after successful gamedrives. So far my favorite spot in Kenya

I recently returned from a 1-night stay at Samburu Intrepids. The lodge is very nice, with great service, excellent food (Rachel and Anastasia from the waitstaff were great), and comfortable tents with very nice beds. However, the real highlight was the game drives. My guide, Jelly, was incredible – he knew the exact best spots to find the animals and was willing to go to different areas of the park to maximize the sightings despite the short time I was there. In just 2 short game drives, we saw lions, cheetahs, a leopard, elephants, and all of the Samburu "Special Five." Jelly was also very knowledgeable about the animals and ecosystems. He also knew a lot about wildlife photography as well. I also had a chance to visit a Samburu village with Jelly (who is Samburu himself) and a guide from the village (Pilot). This was also a great experience and taught me a lot about Samburu traditions and culture. The in-house naturalist Steve also gave a great talk about Samburu culture as well (he gives nightly talks about different topics). I hope to return again sometime and stay for longer. I highly recommend Samburu Intrepids to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Kenya.

Our tent was spacious and had everything we needed. It overlooked the river and felt private. The bed was super comfortable. The monkeys who wanted to join us (remember to zip your tent) added a bit of fun. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Safaris were excellent. I wished we'd stayed more than 2 nights.

I first stayed at Samburu Intrepids in 2018, and had such a wonderful experience I’ve now visited three times. My visits have been for work, while filming for National Geographic, and this lodge has been an important partner in making our project successful. The location is gorgeous, in an oasis alongside a river. The tents are comfortable and clean. And most of all, the staff make you feel welcome and become friends. Bonface the manager ensures that you have everything you need, Jelly the guide is knowledgeable and adventurous, Lawrence & Gideon the wait staff are friendly and helpful. I even got a special nature tour from Hussain. This is just naming a few of the staff who make this lodge a home away from home in Samburu. Can’t wait to visit again!
