This hotel deserves a zero star. Very very disappointed in my recent stay. Room was filthy when I checked in, there was still rubbish in the bin. Overall hotel very dated. I chose this hotel as I'm a Marriott rewards club member. Last night, there was a power outage for this hotel at 1130am, there were no lights no heater, nothing. Front desk wasn't able to tell me anything. I typically sleep with lights on so this meant zero sleep for me. I did constant follow up with front desk and they were not able to share details nor when this can be fixed. Did I also mention that the front desk folks were not at all apologetic, in fact they were rude and impatient. It's 635am now and there's still no lights, no heating. I am waiting for the sun to come up so I can start getting ready. Really didn't expect a Marriott camping experience where I had to move around in my room with my mobile torch all the time. I didn't pay USD250 a night to sign up for this nonsense. See attached photo. The tone of the letter is so defensive "issue is out of our control". Similar attitude when I read fellow reviews with poor ratings "I'm disappointed in your review". There is no intention of this hotel management to self reflect and make things better or do service recovery.

We arrived a little early, and since there were rooms available, we chose to wait for one on the same floor as our event. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. There’s ample parking if you’re driving a car, but unfortunately, my truck didn’t fit in the garage. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were great, and once I figured out the lighting, it was easy to manage. The key cards, however, were frustrating — they became desensitized very easily. The staff also wasn’t familiar with how to activate the mobile key through the app, which would have been more convenient. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey for a buffet. The food was hot and fresh, though I would’ve appreciated more non-pork options. Unfortunately, lunch was a completely different experience. We were seated in the back by the manager, Hans, who never told the server we were there. As a result, we were ignored while several tables that arrived after us were served first. After waiting about 30 minutes just to place an order — and another 30 for the food to arrive — we were late returning to our event. The food finally came out cold, dry, with incorrect orders, and one plate even had burned fries. When we brought it up to Hans, he simply shrugged his shoulders, walked away, and said nothing. His dismissive attitude was unacceptable, especially from someone in hospitality. To make matters worse, he was there again the next morning and was just as rude. Later that day, we tried using the hotel’s chat function to request a late check-out, but after waiting over an hour with no response, we ended up checking out through the app. As if that wasn’t enough, all of the elevators broke down, forcing seniors and elderly guests to wait for a struggling service elevator while others had to walk down multiple flights of stairs from the 10th floor. For an upscale hotel, I expected a much higher standard of service and maintenance. While the rooms and front desk staff were nice, the poor dining experience, lack of responsiveness, and elevator issues overshadowed the good. I truly hope management addresses these issues — especially the behavior of the restaurant manager — to match the level of quality this hotel brand is known for.

Smaller Marriott property but nice. There is no valet at this location which I thought was a little unusual, or at least there wasn’t one during our stay there. There is a large parking garage just across from the main entrance so parking wasn’t an issue and I honestly prefer to self park anyway. The girl at the front desk checked us in quickly and was friendly, however, did not go through any of the elite member benefits aside from late checkout (F&B credit, lounge access, complimentary wifi, welcome gift, etc) and o ended up having to use the chat function to ask about all of those things. There was a pool and fitness center along with a club lounge for elite members to enjoy breakfast in the morning along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. The room was large and well up-kept, however, it had a strong musty smell and some of the pillowcases has brown stains on them which led me to wonder if they had actually changed them or simply made the bed without changing anything. Overall a pleasant stay but given the stained pillowcases, musty smell, and lack of info given at check-in it’s a 4/5 for me.
