Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas

The front desk was very slow. Only one lady,she talked over the phone while putting me on hold for 5 minutes. I was the only guest in wait that time. The hotel is new and clean.

This is a newer hotel with a beautiful lobby and bar. The suites are very comfortable. I enjoyed the view of the creek behind the property. Breakfast has plenty of great options for both those who are trying to eat healthy and smart, or those, like myself, who want to indulge a little bit while on vacation. Within walking distance are several good restaurants. I highly recommend The Ranch. If my travels bring me back to this neck of the woods I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Small hiccup but good overall Everything went well. The hotel is brand new and everything looks immaculate. We were disappointed not to have connecting rooms with the two room we booked. I had called after making the reservation and I was told they made the room to be connecting. Once we checked in, the room were not connecting but two floors apart… we decided to just let it be but it was upsetting. Pool area is great though people kept walking in to use the exit door in there which felt slightly awkward.

Pros: Excellent breakfast as usual at Embassy Suites Free self parking, which is becoming rare in the Dallas area Cons: Housekeeping service was unreliable, bathroom supplies not refilled, used towels not removed, and service skipped entirely one day Nuisance charge to credit card for bottled water which we did not use Noisy, both from nearby freeway and neighboring rooms

Loved the free breakfast that came with the stay. I also loved the view of the river outside the window.

This is my fourth Embassy Suites stay... this week. This place is horrible. It comes across as new, but once you get to your room and start to actually use it, you'll find the pillows child sized (my room only had one (!) , sheets dirty, bar/restaurant closes at 8pm, and the front desk is zero help. I called and asked for two more pillows and they said they were out of pillows, which is a lie... It's a half empty hotel, there's plenty, just zero desire to make someone's stay comfortable. Deuces.
