超級好的酒店，建築非常漂亮，服務很好，房間很乾凈，早餐是現做的，早餐的服務有點驚訝到我，有一個姐姐親自接待幫忙倒果汁，現煮咖啡，還有烤麪包端上來，等了二十幾分鍾早餐也做好了端上來，還有其他的一些餐點可以自助，吃早餐的餐廳非常英式，透過一個門的玻璃窗可以看到外面草地，整個院子非常好看，周邊是打不到Uber的，最好是前台諮詢提前叫個的士再出發

This year's trip was dissapointing, we requested the sane room we had the previous year, agreeing to pay a premium when we arrived, to find it wasn't the same room and as the hotel was fully booked there was nothing to be done. I reiterated that we had booked a reservation for drinks and snacks for five people in the residence lounge, to which the receptionist confirmed and said it was all in place, it wasn't. At seven we were told by Sibil (this was after all Fawlty Towers now) that we should be able to find a table somewhere, clean not where we had requested and booked, and ended up in a room that was freezing cold, but no worries it had a huge fireplace, which wasn't alight, just a few embers, so we built up the fire and I'm sure the people who arriving an hour or so later would appreciated it. Breakfast is usually a lottery regarding service, but yhe food is always good, and this proved to be the case, and Mamuel did his best, and he also met us outside later when we checked out and when asked if we could exit left in our cars, said we could, we didn't as its one way, maybe a sign would have helped (Mamuel that is not us) We didn't see Basil, maybe next year.

We had another fabulous night at our local second home. We stayed in a superior room called Ribbons. A lovely room with great views at the front of the building in the left wing. This room was very well done out with a huge amount of storage space and plenty of character. Large bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees in several rooms, very festive. Food was amazing and staff very attentive throughout our stay. The Christmas fair was on with lots of fabulous stalls to see. As a guest you do not need a ticket for this event!

stayed while on business in the local area. Lovely long drive as you enter the estate with plenty of greenery. Easily parked up & got ourselves checked in. Escorted to my room by the lovely lady on reception & my word, the room is incredible. I was in ian's clockroom which was very nice. Comfy bed, nice furniture & it was HUGE. Visible roof timbers aswell as being in a grade 1 listed building. Had a good night's sleep however i found the pillows a little firm for my. breakfast tasted okay but my godnare the portions skimpy. £25 for 1 sausage, 2 bacon & 1 very small hash brown. Even worse they had no option for beans, on a full english. Also portioned the sauce to a teaspoon aswell, like what?? Not seen that before. Overall however, an enjoyable stay.

Hintlesham Hall is a lovely country house hotel with good, quiet bedrooms and comfortable lounges. The food is excellent and the staff helpful. The only thing to be aware of is that it is easy to miss the entrance from the car park. I entered by what I thought was the main door and found myself in the middle of a corridor between lounges and found it difficult to find the reception.

Lovely grounds, very comfortable hotel rooms, if not a tiny bit dated, but actually a really lovely hotel with some grand rooms, lots of space and really nice staff. Food was good, we had dinner and breakfast and also some snacks, all good enough, but the major let down was the service. It was just overall lacking - not enough people. Left waiting for very long periods of time, and to the point if we wanted a drink or to place an order we had to leave the room and make our way to find someone or go to reception to tell them to find someone. It was very odd and for the entire stay, unsure if staff were sick or off, but it was actually a major annoyance, there was no waiting on anyone to see how we were or if we needed anything else - you had to hunt for someone at all times, meaning actually our bar bills were far less than they could have been. Great for us, not for them! The bar was in one part of the hotel, with many other of the grand rooms over the other side, so you were left alone for long periods.
