The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park ★★★
"Good location, close to main sights. The dinner buffet was delicious. Some lodges are quite far from the main building. The room was old but clean. The cleaning staff came into my room in the morning while I was at my car before I even checked out. On the day of checkout cleaning staff should only enter rooms where guests have checked out!"
Motel 6 Bishop, CA ★★
"It was good."
Stovepipe Wells Village ★★★
Panamint Springs Motel & Tents ★★
"It was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. I saw 3 cockroaches in the room. They come through the sink drain and door gap. I ended up sleeping in the car."
Best Western Frontier Motel ★★★
"The location is great. We used it as a stop on our long drive to Yosemite. The model is simple and the room a bit updated. But it was really really clean which we appreciated."
Vagabond Inn Bishop ★★★
"Not so pretty from the outside, but very clean inside. Breakfast is typical American."
The Inn at Death Valley - Inside the Park ★★★★★
"A paradise in the desert. Located within the Death Valley scenic area; very close to the sunrise and sunset photo spots. Be sure to book a cabin – a detached little house with a garden, and each room comes with a Golf car for you to drive yourself in and out."
The Hostel California ★
"My wife and I haven't stayed in a hostel before so we wasn't really sure what to expect. But we both enjoyed the experience of staying in the hostel. We'd booked a double room with a bathroom.Once you have checked in your handed your bedding which is for you to make up your own bed. This didn't bother us. It made us laugh as the previous night we'd stayed at the Venetian in Vegas. The room was small but clean and did us fine for 1 night. There is a good sized lounge area & dinning room & kitchen. We can't compare to other hostels but we can't have any complaints with our stay."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites BISHOP by IHG ★★★
"Aside from the front desk seeming a bit understaffed in the evenings, everything else was excellent. The room was spacious, and I really appreciated the separate vanity and shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious too."

Olancha RV Park and Motel
"We check in at 8pm ish. There is only 1 lady doing a waitress, reception, dishwashing etc. she’s an all in one. We manage to check in after she made herself free from mall her chores. The room was in a quiet location. You can do cooking in the room with their electric stove and pot is provided. Toilet is good size. Just that the screen doesn’t cover the shower area completely and the wc part get wet. We used their washing machine and paid through as app. We got like free credit for joining as a first user for both of us. The washing machine did not work well. We told the lady and she was very nice to allow us to use the hotel washing machine and help us to wash it as well. Overall we would recommend this lodging if you want somewhere quiet."
Historic Dow Hotel
"The accommodation is good, what happens is very old but to spend a night is good"
Comfort Inn Bishop
"Compared to the same brand hotels elsewhere, Bishop is purely a Motel, so it is a little simpler than normal hotels! The hotel has an outdoor pool and many people play there! Breakfast is basically the same as other brand hotels!"
Quality Inn Lone Pine Near Mount Whitney
"After our rental car broke down just outside Death Valley, we arrived at the Quality Inn feeling flustered and panicked. Being on holiday from the UK, we had no idea where we were or what to do next. From the very start, Pam was an absolute lifesaver. Alamo had refused to pick us up and planned to send our luggage with the tow truck to L.A., even though our flight home was from Las Vegas. Understandably distressed, we were so grateful when Pam offered her own car to help collect our luggage before the tow arrived. Victor, a wonderful long-term guest, kindly drove my husband to retrieve it. When our replacement car finally turned up in the early hours, it had an oil leak, forcing us to stay another night. Through all of this, Pam was incredibly supportive—offering advice, making calls, and doing everything she could to help us continue our journey to Vegas. Thanks to Pam and a fantastic local tow company, we eventually made it to our destination. Pam is truly an asset to Quality Inn, and although our stay in Lone Pine was unexpected, we’ll remember it fondly once we can look back and laugh!"

Trees Motel
Thunderbird Motel
Amargosa Opera House & Hotel
"The facilities are average and the environment isn't great, but the staff are very warm and attentive. The surrounding area is rather desolate, making it inconvenient to eat or shop. However, it's still quite nice that this nearly century-old hotel has been preserved in this desolate place; it has a strong sense of historical vicissitude."
El Rancho Motel
"Not bad, recommended"
