Brambles of Inveraray

Impeccably clean. First thing I noticed is that the bathroom was spotless. The room was large and very comfortable and they provided a nice selection of teas and coffee from the local roaster. Beds were firm but not hard. Perfect, imo. Breakfast was lovely. We did the included continental and it was plenty of food and nice choices. When we were leaving we asked Heather if she could pack us a cheese and pickle sandwich for the road. It was delicious, but even better was the conversation with Heather. I loved this place. You should book here if you can.

First time staying after discovering one of our favourite places to eat also had rooms…. Last minute booking wasn’t an issue at all - met with a warm welcome from Ashley who showed us up to our room. Room absolutely beautiful, comfy bed and pillows made for a great sleep. Amazing shower and bath too, lots of room and hot water / water pressure. Despite being on the high street noise was minimal however, masks and ear plugs are provided if you want them. Breakfast was amazing we were met by Heather and her team. Can highly recommend the French Toast - it’s my go to! Thanks for having us we will definitely be back.

Having been forced out of our family home by the effects of Storm Amy, we were accommodated by the Brambles of Inveraray let me start by saying I cannot find a single fault with this establishment, or the property (garden lodge) we were given. The room was of impeccable standards, and the host ‘Hope’ was extremely friendly whilst remaining professional, A true credit to the business! On the morning of our departure we attended the on site café and was again hosted by Hope, and her colleague Heather. Equally as amazing as Hope, nothing was to much bother for Heather and this was greatly appreciated, she was a delightful host and made us feel welcome and catered to our needs and that of our infant daughter. I certainly will be visiting again a for those of you that haven’t yet been; what are you waiting for?!

Last week was our first visit to Brambles and will certainly not be our last. Inveraray is a pretty little town in a very scenic situation. Brambles is on the main street with easy checkin at their cafe across the street. We managed to get free parking. Though plenty paid available. Loved our room 9 which was spacious with beautiful walk in shower room. Very fresh decor and maintenance.Everything you need is provided and smiled at caramel wafers. Nice touch! Windows open and really comfortable bed. Slept really well as really quiet with no traffic noise. Lovely daily service of the room, which was spotless. Only hitch was an internet issue which was sorted really quickly by management ,once we reported. This was much appreciated as essential for our stay Breakfast was served across the road in their cafe. Continental which was more than adequate but also cooked available at an extra cost. Our reason for staying at Brambles was to eat at Samphire Seafood Restaurant and another reason to return as both were superb. Recommend both.

Brambles is an excellent all-round experience. We were a party of 10 and Heather went out of her way to find us a lovely table right in the middle of this delightful restaurant. The food was delicious and came very quickly- perfect as we had lots of hungry children. We highly recommend Brambles to Inveraray visitors as it is very friendly, excellent service and scrumptious food- especially the incredible Apple Strudel! Thank you very much for a great lunch- we will certainly be returning!

We were greeted at the door by a woman shouting across the cafe, table for 3???? We said no only 2 and in a very unwelcoming manner said SIT ANYWHERE that was it no hello or have you been before couldn’t have cared less whether we ate or not. We then sat for 20 mins before we had to catch someone’s eye to take our order, it seemed to all be a chore, it was hot and busy but still it was pretty bad service. Hubby ordered coffee but it never arrived they did ask once we’d finished our food if he wanted it but it was too late. Food was not as stated on the menu, i did question it and got one of my drinks taken off the bill which was kind but even that seemed to annoy the staff, we then had to wait again to pay and wait and wait! What we ate was okay but def wont recommend as far as customer service goes, real shame.
