I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was unacceptable. The property is extremely run-down and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority — the carpets were buckling throughout the hallways and our room, posing a tripping hazard, and the pull-out mattress was covered in stains, crumbs, and old food. Even worse, the toilet in our room broke during our stay, forcing our entire family to use the public restroom on the first floor, where the door locks were also broken, creating a security issue. The bathroom fan in our room was also non-functional, which only added to the discomfort. Overall, the condition of the hotel made it very hard to relax or feel safe. For the price and based on the photos online, we expected something far better maintained. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you are considering a stay in this area.

Paid 430 for a 125 dollar room. They but nice new sink on crappie broken chest. The room noise was like sleeping with elephants. The lobby was nice but breakfast was very lacking. No newspaper. Just very disappointed, for 430, I could have stayed at a nicer place. Used to love and respect Holiday forgot, bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut unless you forced shut

Breakfast attendant highlight
Decent sized pool - always appreciate not having to turn so many times when swimming laps.
The highlight of this hotel is (always has been- have stayed here multiple times) the breakfast attendant- he stays on top of everything which is a great amount of choices - he asks how it is, will even remove your plates if your sitting conversing when done. This man deserves a raise!!

I liked that the dining was walking distances. It was a drive for us from where we were but it was a beautiful area and other then the pool being under maintenance our stay was great. Breakfast was nice. We took a few things to snack on with us. Coffee was fresh. Everyone was very polite and welcoming.

Staff very friendly at check in. The lady watching over the breakfast area was wonderful. Kept everything clean, replenished items as they were depleted and had a very friendly demeanor. Helped make a good start to the day. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.
