My stay at Wyndham Ion Majestic Genting was simply perfect from start to finish! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed — everything felt so new and luxurious. The view from my unit was breathtaking, especially in the morning when the mist rolled over the mountains. The weather was cool and refreshing — it truly felt like being above the clouds!
The facilities were amazing — the Skypool 50 was stunning, the heated pool was superb and my kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast buffet was excellent — so many choices and every dish was delicious.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was convenient and peaceful, just a short drive from the Genting attractions, yet away from the crowds — perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The price was really worth it for the comfort, quality, and experience we had. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single flaw. It’s truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’ll definitely return in December with my big family — can’t wait to experience it all over again! 💯✨"

"The facilities here for me like very basic such as gym. The buffet was good with multiple choices of cuisine. The staff was friendly and willing to assist the customer like i was having problem with my access card while trying to access the level 40 for swimming pool area. The view from wing D was so nice n i can see top of genting from my room at level 15. Definitely will repeat this hotel for staycation next time."

"To sum it up. Truly worth the time we took to drive up from Singapore. This is a service apt concept and the condo is literally brand new. Some other constructions are still on going but doesn't really impact the stay. The essential shops are there like the restaurants and Bilabila mart.
Unit is clean and comes with awesome sky view and firm beds which we liked. Peaceful quiet mostly except when the roaring bike or cars go up to Genting.
Abt 15mins to walk to Genting and 20mins to Temple ( both using the Antara link bridge)
Travelling with elderly and kiddos might rethink about this thou. Parking is ringgit 10/night
Overall a very pleasant stay and likely to return again for the good service and superb view

"I stayed at Awana Resort for 3 days. The room was big and clean, which is a plus point, and the warm pool was enjoyable.
It’s a good place if your main purpose is golfing or shopping at the Premium Outlet — the free shuttle service is convenient. However, if you plan to spend most of your time at Genting Resort for shopping, dining, or entertainment, it can be inconvenient. You’ll need to take either the cable car or a Grab. I preferred Grab, as it’s cheaper, especially when travelling with a group.
Breakfast was average — the milk for oats wasn’t cold, and there weren’t many vegetables for the salad (only one type at the counter).
One unpleasant experience was getting locked out of my room on the second day after a tiring day. Both key cards failed, and I had to walk all the way to the reception. There was no explanation or apology from the staff, which was disappointing.
Overall, a decent stay if you’re there for golf or outlet shopping, but less ideal if your plans revolve around Genting Resort attractions."

"The apartment is okay. Everything is decent and acceptable with the price offered. However they are few issues i want to point out: 1) Netflix cannot be watched. It was a false claim when they put it in the information just to attract guest but cannot be used.
2) Window blind: i want to complain about the window blind used in the kitchen window and the 2nd bedroom window. The blind is not FULL BLACKOUT blind.. It's still see through even the blind was pulled to cover the window completely. As a muslim family, this is not acceptable. And it affect the privacy of the guest as well. I hope they will change the blind to the Full Blackout type.
3) The Washing machine NOT washing & Dry machine. The washing machine only can be used to wash clothes. Not for dry. The dry function was not working.
I will consider to come again in the future if the issue is resolved properly"

"Check in took about 2 hours. Booked under Trip (3rd party) can’t check in using kiosk. I asked the officer and he gave me Q number for counter. Waited for 90 pax. When reach counter the lady mentioned need to pay RM15 for counter check in.She mentioned I supposed need to go to kiosk check in assistant. But the officer at the first place didn’t mention this. The instruction is very messy. Hope Genting can improve this and give a clearer instruction."

breakfast service has to be improved though. breakfast was ala carte and we waited close to an hour for our breakfast to be served. even the coffee took an hour. the next day, we just skipped the breakfast completely.

GGuest UserThank you for the excellent hostality for Geo Hotel to their Guest Relation Officer Check in Staff Syazwan, their humble head Chef Zack fm Prata section and the Chinese Chef plus another Malay Chef which we forgotten his name , their inhouse breakfast team GM and swrvers Mr Ismeil , and MR Rizal the guy whom helped us to book 2 grab taxi for us on our check out daty on 27/6 and the house keeping teams whom clean room 511. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the security personnel makes us safe to stay at the hotel on 24/6 to 27/6. The swimming pool was also safe and my kids love it.

The hotel has a modern and cozy design, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the highlands. The location is convenient—just a short drive to SkyAvenue and the attractions, yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest.
What stood out most was their breakfast – so tasty and satisfying, the best way to fuel up before exploring. Their omelette 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Marvellous!
The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. I especially appreciated their warm hospitality. The facilities are well-maintained, and the breakfast selection was tasty and satisfying.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay whether for a quick weekend escape or a family trip. I’ll definitely come back and recommend Scapes Hotel to anyone visiting Genting Highlands!

It’s very cheap — only around RM100 per night including tax! Really affordable and super worth it! The room is also spacious. Parking can be waived for free!
Cons:
It’s about a 20-minute drive up to Genting First World (about 10 minutes drive down from Genting to the hotel). The location is a bit far and secluded. The reception, parking, and hotel entrance are quite far apart. Every time you go out, you need to get the parking waived, change elevators, and walk quite a bit. After getting our room card and parking ticket, we had to go to the 7th floor, exit the lift, and switch to another elevator just to get to the one that leads to the rooms. We noticed it wasn’t just us — everyone seemed lost and confused. The directions and signage were really unclear. Every time we went out, someone was asking for directions.

Rooms were big and spacious. Good quality TV, comfy beds. Good amenities in toilets but NO laundry service.
Hotel amenities were excellent. Beautiful pool, late night bar and convenient store.
Driving there at night with fog can be dangerous as there is little to no visibility and no street lights.

I arrived around 7.00pm but they said my room is ”not ready” yet (but she said housekeeping was done earlier). Check-in counter is at Jade tower (tower 2)..but we need to park at Tower 7 and stay at Tower 1. What?? To me this is so ridiculous.. and then, when I'm about to enter my room, I found the card is not functioning..I REPEAT, I CANNOT ENTER MY ROOM AND I NEED TO WAIT AROUND ONE HOUR WITH THE KIDS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. But after someone came, he used his master card to open my door and asked me to update my own card ”when I'm free” at Tower 2. Why do I need to go through this hassle and make it so complicated?? I feel very disappointed and tired to entertain all this nonsense. However, luckily this room is well maintained & clean..

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at Magtree Genting hotel, in room 2004, tower 4, and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel is generally okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement.
Firstly, the bunk bed in our room seemed to be broken. When our children slept on it, the bed shook quite a bit, which was concerning. This issue needs to be addressed promptly, either by repairing or replacing the bunk bed to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests.
Secondly, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and this was quite disappointing. A higher standard of cleanliness is expected, especially in the bathroom area.
As for the breakfast, it was just so-so. The selection was quite limited, with options such as fried noodles, fried rice, Nasi lemak, soup noodles, small sausages, fried eggs, roti canai, curry chicken and bread. However, there was no milk, cereal, or cake for the children. Additionally, we found that the creamer seemed to have been bitten by either a cockroach or a mouse, which was quite unappetizing. We have photos to support this observation.
Overall, while the hotel is generally okay, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly with the bunk bed, bathroom cleanliness, and breakfast quality. We hope these issues will be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

The place is very clean and big. The hotel is covered with fog, it is very beautiful!🌬🍃 There are a lot of food places in the hotel! Grab and bus are very affordable and easy to book in the area.
