Departed for Sri Lanka on September 28, 2023, and checked into the Amangalla Hotel in Galle Fort. It was the sixth Aman hotel to check in. It felt great. Amangalla was built in the 17th century. The surrounding area is very convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. There is the Tuna and the Crab restaurant, which is a brother restaurant of the one-Michelin-star restaurant in Colombo. If you have enough money, you can try it. Be sure to choose his tea plantation tour, which will also take you to see the sea turtle hatching base and stilt fishing. It was very interesting. Although I fell off and stepped on a rock while fishing on stilts and was injured, I gained interesting photos and a rare life experience. The ancient city of Galle is also worth visiting. Amangalla can arrange cars and tour guides. The hotel is right in the center of the ancient city. The location is good and it is very convenient to go everywhere. Although I fell into the sea while fishing on stilts and cut my feet. All in all, it was still a very interesting experience. The two Amans in Sri Lanka are different from the ones we stayed in before. They are far away from Colombo and do not provide free airport pick-up services. The airport pick-up fee for the five of us was about US$400 in a large amanganla. It should be noted that if two Aman activities are booked for consecutive days, they generally need to be booked from the official website, not Ctrip agents.

A sea view hotel with a view of Galle Fort! A hotel I like very much. It is larger and more spacious than the hotels in the old town and has a first-line sea view. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. The sea view outdoor swimming pool is the highlight. It is very comfortable even if you lie there and daydream! The room is considered large in Galle. Although it is a bit old, it is well maintained. Avoid the rooms on the first floor, which are semi-underground...

The all-inclusive price is particularly refreshing. You can eat or drink whenever you want. However, the hotel is relatively old and the swimming pool closes early, only at 7 or 8 p.m.

We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

A very comfortable trip, must go to the beach! The beachfront hotel is really the highlight of the trip. Because it is an environmentally friendly hotel, remember to ask for disposable utensils such as toothbrushes from the front desk in advance.

The infinity pool of Bawa architecture is a wonderful hotel. Many of the customers seemed to be from Sri Lanka. There were many people like honeymooners, but there were surprisingly many families and families. Although the hotel was a little old, it was solidly built and there was no problem with the plumbing. Service outside the restaurant was very good. The restaurant seems to take more than 30 minutes to bring out what you ordered at lunch. And it was a little cold. Coffee for breakfast also took quite a while to come out. Housekeeping and receptionists were very nice.

Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.

The facilities are complete but the sheets are stained and cannot be washed off. Hotel service is not good, do not replace it and do not clean it once every five days. Indians seem to open. Environmental facilities are good

The experience of this hotel is average. First of all, the hygiene of the room is average. The bathroom has a bit of smell. Secondly, the towels don't look very clean. I was woken up by mosquito bites in the middle of the night and saw dozens of mosquito bites on my feet. It's really unbearable. I haven't had such a bad experience in so many days. However, the location of the hotel is good. It is in Coco Bay and faces the beach. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a meal ordering form. I didn't expect that the taste is good, because the bread and waffles are baked on the ordering basis, which is particularly fragrant.
