The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the city center of Wuling District, close to Laoximen Cultural Tourism Zone, the pedestrian street, and the Yuan River. "I drove to Changde with friends this weekend, primarily aiming for two things: a live performance of ”Peach Blossom Spring” and a stay at the Ligao 1919 Hotel.
As soon as I arrived in Changde that morning, I received a call from the hotel. They proactively added me on WeChat and sent me their exact location. Upon arrival, a housekeeper came out to greet me and helped with my luggage. The attention to detail was exceptional!
The biggest surprise was the front desk's complimentary upgrade. I already loved my original room, but the upgraded suite was a thousand times better than I expected!
The room was beautifully appointed and furnished, with everything I needed. There were L'Occitane shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, a Lifen hair dryer, a perfectly firm mattress, and the room was incredibly quiet!
A complimentary afternoon tea set worth 128 RMB was included with the room, and the plates were beautiful! When I returned to the hotel that evening, I was also greeted with sweet yellow peaches and goodnight fruit! The next day's breakfast was the most thoughtful I've ever experienced. We slept soundly until 10 a.m. The beef noodles were incredibly delicious, even better than at Hexiang Noodle House!
Every detail of the hotel, including the lobby, reception, atrium, staircases, corridors, and cafe, exudes taste and high-quality aesthetics.
I'll be back in Changde and at Ligao 1919 again. I look forward to seeing you again!"

The first time I lived in the whole season 4.0, I felt pretty good.
The lobby is elegantly decorated, parking is very convenient, there is a ground and an underground parking lot.
The wood color decoration has a certain high-end sense.

Let me talk about the results first. It is a highly recommended hotel. The room is spacious, with a wide view and a window that can see the lake. Because the space is large and the weather is cold, I was given a small oil heater, and the room is very warm. The solid wood floor looks very clean. The sofa can be pulled out as a bed, which is very convenient for families traveling with children, and it is also very comfortable to sleep. The attitude of the front desk is very good, and any situation can be handled in the first time. The variety of breakfast is average, not too much or too little. The bathroom space is well designed, and the shower room does not leak at all, even if a little water is brought out, it does not affect going to the toilet. I stayed twice during the Spring Festival, and the overall feeling was very good. There are a few points that I hope to improve: one is that the air conditioning is not turned on in the lobby. It doesn't matter if you go there for a short time, but you will feel a little cold while eating breakfast; the other is that the shower head is not good enough, the water pressure should not be low, but the water coming out of the shower head also feels a little weak.

Anonymous UserChecking in was a hassle from the start. The location was tricky to find; it said 7th floor, but you actually had to go to the 1st floor to check in. When I asked the front desk, they said several hotels were merged and you had to check in separately. I had booked in advance, but when I arrived to check in, they told me they might not have a suitable room. The front desk suggested that if I wasn't happy, I could just check out. This was during the May Day holiday, and I had planned and booked ahead. They didn't inform me of this situation beforehand, just wanted to dismiss me by offering a refund. What's up with that? As expected, when I checked in, there were only three leftover rooms to choose from – either incredibly smelly or tiny. What was the point of booking a room then? I had no choice but to take the small room. Thinking about it now, it's really infuriating. The service was absolutely subpar. Besides the small room, the hotel uses one floor as two, so the ceiling height is very low, making it feel incredibly cramped. Even the picture of the hotel's main entrance is fake. I do not recommend this place at all. The price was already double the usual rate for May Day. Enough said, I will never come back.

The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic. The twin room having two sinks was a great detail. The style was unique, with a rich wooden decor that surprisingly didn't have any woody smell. Breakfast offered a wide variety. Finally, I have to commend the hotel's service; they even gave me a souvenir upon check-out, and the staff member was incredibly enthusiastic. It's a hotel with great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Location: Ideally located within 10-15 minutes from the Airport, with convenient access to restaurants and massage services within walking distance.
Cleanliness: We found the place to be impeccably clean with no issues whatsoever.
Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Facilities: One standout feature was the presence of a little shop in the lobby, which we found quite convenient. Some shops were closed as we were traveling during Chinese New Year. I liked the availability of modern sitting toilets and squatting toilets. The provided slippers were remarkably comfortable, and we also found the establishment to be U.S. passport-friendly. Not bad for the price you pay for.

A good stay for a day stop at Changde. The price was really good when I booked. All needed basic anemities are there and would be a great location if you planning to get to the Railway station (which is just infront of the hotel) the next day like me as there's an underground passage just right infront of the hotel. May be a little difficult to find the entrance but easy ti ask around. Dint get to see the receptionist though when we checked in but there's this lady nice enough to assist us.
