"We had a lovely stay at Dara Hotel Phuket as a couple! The room was modern, clean, and beautifully designed with a cozy atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the stunning view from our balcony. The location is convenient, just a short drive to Central Phuket and other key attractions, yet quiet enough to enjoy some peace and privacy. The rooftop pool was a great spot to unwind in the evening, and breakfast had a nice variety to start the day. Overall, Dara Hotel offered great value for money and made our couple’s trip memorable. We would definitely stay here again"

"It was a lovely place. We stayed in the room with pool access. Great view as the picture, but the area is smaller than expected, but it was enough. Free cold drinks at the lobby, which you can get anytime. The location was about 15 minutes from the shopping centre. 2 nights stayed enough , and the room was a bit small for a long stay. There is nothing around us. Everything is 15 minutes away. It's worth the stay for the pool and the clear canoe. Very insta-worthy !!! Great for relaxation!"

"I booked this place thinking it would have the multiple rooftop pools (see their images). However, theyve updated to one small L-shaped pool and a section of table/pools that aren't available until after 6pm. It's super deceptive if you think you're getting what the hotel images show. Don't get a balcony - you're just facing another room in the inner area. First night there were a bunch of cockroaches and was told it's the rainy season. Listen, I also live in the tropics and understand seeing the odd one but there were 4-5 roaming around the room in the evening. Told the GM the next day who offered to upgrade/move me, when all I wanted was the room to be sprayed. Was told if they spray more would come so I shifted rooms. It's a great location but the place feels like it's in need of investment. Book it if it's cheap/low season."

"Depand on your travel style. If you just want a chill beach vacation, this is the place with clean and peace beach. But if you like more happening, here is a bit outskirt, no street food, no massage shop, what you expect is just resort restaurants, bar, spa, recreation with hotel's price. Breakfast same every day. "The room assigned was 622 and had several faults. The shower was cold water only, the sink had no plug (I wear contacts and need a plug incase drop lens), the patio doors had no locks, the safe was big enough to hold a passport, no laptop or any tech of any size. And the aircon air flow directors not working at all. A complaint to the hotel and to TRIP.COM (make sure to bypass the robot to get a real person) and another room was allocated that had 3 of the 4 short comings addressed (hot water and security being the main ones). The safe was still small, and aircon airflow still not working, but least of the issues. The aircon in the new room also would not respond to the remote always, even new batteries. Became a little annoying as it was quite hot. Rest of the stay was great, service was good, breakfast was really good and until noon, breakfast service was excellent. Breakfast includes anything from Breakfast and Thai pages of the menu attached. Some examples too, coffee, juice and fruit included. Location was nice, only slight annoyance was GRAB ride from hotel to just up the road, or next resort started at 300bht, which seemed over priced since to airport (25km away) was only 700bht."

"The hotel itself is nice, with a clean and pleasant environment. It's also conveniently located with a 7-Eleven just across the street. However, the location can be quite difficult to find — most Bolt drivers struggled to locate it. During the first two days of our stay, we experienced something unsettling. Despite placing a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, we noticed signs that someone had used the toilet in my friend's room — there was used toilet paper in the bowl, and the curtains were drawn open, even though my friend had left them closed. Thankfully, nothing was missing from the room. We reported it to the management, and the manager checked the CCTV footage but claimed that no one had entered the room. It was a disturbing experience, to say the least. That said, aside from this incident, the hotel offers a comfortable and tidy atmosphere. With some improvements to security and clarity around guest privacy, it would be a much better experience overall."

The kids already asking when are we going back!! Really nice place!! I recommend : Must Rent a car from the Airport so you can go around the island, because at night not much options to do , so car will be great to move around and to discover the beautiful island. "130€/night (very fair) WiFi 99mbps (very fast) Tasty breakfast! Excellent rooms: I could easily move into this stylish room for long-term. Service is great at front desk (Peach and Boy gave me a very warm welcome) restaurant and bar. Location is close 6min walk to the beach and famous beach clubs. Construction sites around the hotel are a minus but they were known to me and the price was very fair, so no problem. Sauna and gym completed the experience."

JJoanneHYI recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and my experience was fantastic. I originally booked a pool-access room for all three nights. However, due to an unexpected system issue, the hotel was unable to provide the pool room for the entire stay. Instead, they arranged for me to stay one night in the pool room and upgraded me to a much larger room for the remaining two nights. To make up for the inconvenience, they also offered a complimentary dinner, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of my stay was the thoughtful birthday surprise they prepared for me. When I entered the room, it was beautifully decorated with “Happy Birthday” wishes, which made my day extra special and memorable. Although the hotel is slightly older, the outstanding service more than made up for it. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The central location is another great advantage, making it convenient to explore the area and enjoy the local attractions. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel’s dedication to their guests. Despite the minor hiccup with the booking, their efforts to make it right truly impressed me. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable stay with exceptional service and a great location.

FFahriyahWe got a free upgrade!! Super nice view with balcony. The beautiful beautiful beach view. The location was perfect. Not too busy and noisy. Big 7-11 store nearby the hotel. Park your bike opposite the hotel. It's safe! We parked there for a week. Staff was super nice and friendly. The room has an old smell but it's clean. We brought our room spray. So it's all good. The bed was nice and room was super cosy. We definitely will come again to this hotel..!

SSamuel HandWe had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our daughter loved the pool and loved playing in the 'Kids World'. The facilities are excellent, for example there is a good-sized gym with plenty of equipment, and a restaurant with lots of choice. The breakfast is delicious. I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is also only a short walk away from the beach. In the interest of balance, I would just like to mention a few things that could be improved upon. 1. The room did not look like the advertisement photos on the booking website. The staff were very helpful and added some things to make it a closer resemblance. However, the photo of the one bedroom family suite shows lots of toys and extra items in the room that are in fact not included. There is a bunk bed and a kids tent. 2. The local area is quite expensive. Due to there being no 7 eleven nearby and the northern part of Kamala being quite relaxed, the prices of things in the local shops are pretty high. I would advise to get a ride to the nearest 7 eleven as soon as you arrive and stock up on supplies! These 2 things are small in comparison to the great things this hotel has to offer. We had an amazing time. We want to thank the staff for a lovely holiday!
