Miette Mountain Cabins

This place is actually in a cottage style, with each room being its own separate house. I found it quite unique since I’ve never rented a cottage before. The environment is nice, and at night you can actually see the stars outside the house.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a deluxe cabin with our 3 year old . There was an on site park but unfortunately the pool and spa hot tub was closed for our stay. There games room was open and had plenty to offer and the community room with free hot drinks. The cabin itself was great with everything you need for self catering. The bed was super comfy. We used both the fire pit for s’mores and the bbq for cooking. Beware of mosquitos - we had to buy spray. Great stay. Would return

We stayed here for three nights in Aug 2025, Room 220 in the lodge. The room was nice. It’s two levels with the bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There’s a pullout couch on the main level a kitchen and a bathroom. There’s were obvious maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Some of the screens in the windows were duct taped. The blinds would fall even when raised. The door was crooked and hard to close. But the suite itself was reasonably clean. There is a tv but the channels did not come through and it’s not a smart tv so you can’t sign in to any streaming services. I’m not really sure why they even have it there to be honest. The minimal supplies are provided in the room like soap, dishwasher tabs, towels, etc. You can’t ask for more at the front desk. Housekeeping was not provided unless asked for. There was a nice enough games room and lounge with coffee and tea and cookies. The outdoor pool was ok. The pool deck was not my favorite as the cement was rough and uneven. The hot tub was not working for the entire length of our stay. We paid $2100 CAD for three nights. I would not stay here again for that kind of money.

Miette Mountain Cabins is a most enjoyable and welcoming dwelling for rest and relaxation. It is close to jasper and Hinton for any entertainment or shopping needs, or wants:)!The entire staff, who are most accommodating and pleasant, go out of their way to ensure that your stay is most enjoyable. Pet friendly, a games room, and always coffee, tea and cookies in the sitting area of the main building add to your pleasure. This is truly a delightful place to stay.
