Very Good

We enjoyed the delicious, abundant fresh seafood and the warm service. However, the mattresses on the floor were very thin by our standards, which made it difficult for us to get proper sleep and rest between our long bike rides.
Very impressive arranegment and hospitality. I had a cycling accident in Seto inland sea and requested a delay checkin. The hotel texted me to offer assistance. Upon knowing my injury, the hotel upgraded me to a big private room for which i did not have to walk upstairs to my room and there was a private bath room inside. When i arrived at late night, all food were well prepared on table whilst fresh sushi were stored in the fridge. The hotel is a traditional Japanese hostel with warm hospitality and nice massage facilities. Surely will pick it when travel there again.

It's an old-style restaurant, but overall it's clean and the service is good. Unfortunately, there are only 2 staff members who can communicate in English. I especially want to praise the sister who knows English. We can only find her in the cafeteria because we can't communicate with others.
Breakfast and dinner are rich in food. We booked rooms + breakfast and dinner at different prices. The food in the lower price was better than that in the higher price. I really don't understand. In addition, there was no menu so I didn't know what to eat. I could only guess what other guests had and asked if I didn't have any. They also didn't have a procedure for serving food (maybe it was just for our two tables). I had to ask the waitress before I could eat. This was the only thing that made us dissatisfied. Everything else was ok.
We rode bicycles around the islands - the hotel location was ideal for an overnight stay.
Pluses - there is a modest onsen. But there was no bathtub in the room.
Cons - no soundproofing in the room. We woke up from the sounds in the neighboring rooms 😩
Staff 5+ as everywhere in Japan)
Traditional Japanese inn, excellent cuisine, overlooking the sunrise over Tatara Bridge, is a great attraction. The hot spring area is small but comfortable, it is a hotel worth visiting
The second time I stayed here, it was different from the last time. There was no toilet or shower in the room. I was not used to it. The service was very good. The breakfast was very special.
Some rooms have independent bathtubs, and some have to go to public bathhouses, which close at 8:30pm. The staff is very friendly, but they don't understand any foreign languages.
We had a good stay with traditional Ryokan accommodation. The meals were delicious. Two small problems for us. This is the first time we have had to prepare our futons in a Ryokan with dirty sheets (hair on them). The owner is not behaving appropriately. After wanting to charge us a second time for the night when we left, not a single word of apology but rather a contemptuous attitude. It's a shame to end our stay like this... The rest of the staff are fortunately very good and very professional.

I was assigned a "western style" room. There is a reason that they don't show this room type on the listing. The room I was given was in a back addition that looked like temporary housing. The room was run down, and the bed was a cot. The most serious issue is that there was one toilet shared by three rooms. At the same time, the only place to wash up was at a sink on an outdoor balcony. Dinner was also mediocre. On the other hand, breakfast was spectacularly good. I imagine that if both meals were good, and that I got a decent room, then my review might have been as positive as some of the others.

Every year, we stayed in a special room on our wedding anniversary. We always make a reservation for next year on the way home. We were looking forward to this year, but a few weeks ago, we got an email from the person who usually takes care of our rooms, asking if we would like a room on the second or third floor...Special performance in the flute room, in-room dining, and a discounted price. We thought it was strange, so we asked the person in charge. When we asked, it turned out to be a booking. It seems that the head landlady passed away, and the accounting department did not run smoothly and there was a mistake. We gave up the special room this time because we go every year. The head chef also has a hard time playing the flute, so it's okay not to play in the room. We'll go and listen. On the day, the new landlady greeted us at the reception, but there was no apology for the booking. Nakai-san, who came to work, greeted her husband at the accounting department, but did not greet the customers on the floor. The hot food that we were looking forward to at dinner was not hot, and from the beginning, boiled ako was served as an appetizer. It was cold and the meat was hard to remove. It was half as delicious as before. I always look forward to the same thing every year because I come here every year and it's always a devised dinner, but... the menu was almost the same. They did serve me salted sea bream. The fried sardine also got cold by the time it reached the third floor, and although I should have been able to eat it down to the bone, it was too hard to eat. Only the special rooms offer in-room dining. I thought it was only within the distance that hot food could be delivered hot, but it seems that you can probably pay extra to have it in your room. That's no good. If it was going to taste like this, I would have been able to eat the chef's delicious food if I went down to eat at the restaurant❗I regret it❗ The breakfast was delicious, though. When I paid, they only said, "There seem to have been a lot of mistakes." "Thank you for kindly changing the room for me"❗They should have said it properly. Also, the points that they stamped every year were "expired in one year." "The second point is invalid because there is no date, but we'll give it to you this time for free"... That's not possible. It's the inn's job to put in the date. Even if a guest says that to us...❗We saved up little by little for a year for two people, and it was 60,000 to 70,000 yen per night for two people. We can't stay here many times a year. It's a once-a-year luxury. The landlady knew that and treated us well. I think that's the point. And to top it off, she didn't even see us off when we left. The landlady always came outside to see us off with the person in charge. She even took a photo for us. Fujimien's hospitality is gone. We left without making a reservation for next year. I don't think I'll ever go there again.

I stayed here for two nights while cycling, and the meals, mainly fish, were delicious and wonderful. I'd love to return to try some delicious fish. The seawater bath was also very relaxing, soothing my tired body after cycling and the summer sun. The bath on the balcony also looked nice, so I'd like to try it again if I have the chance.

I stayed one night with my dog and daughter at Fujimien in Omishima, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. As word of mouth said, the chef's flute was very good, and the food came out with a lot of seafood. The next morning's breakfast didn't come out even after waiting for 30 minutes. The breakfast fee was deducted and the dog's fee was also deducted, but as an impression, it is a peaceful rural inn, the building is old, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to the third floor. was. I'm really tired. Coupons for travel support are also limited to Ehime Prefecture, so you can't use them unless you know the address of an island in the Seto Sea. Rabbit Island Okunoshima was not available in Hiroshima Prefecture, so I should have used it on the island I was staying on, but I put it off because it would increase my luggage, and by the time I realized it, I was in another prefecture. As a result, I couldn't use the coupon for 6,000 yen, and I was disappointed that I wish there was a more flexible response, such as a warning when it was provided at the inn. Next time I would like to use a proper accommodation facility where you can stay with your dog.
