Wonderful place at all levels. We love it and will definitely be back 👌 Only repair is even the water in the pools should be warmer. I strongly advise you to visit and enjoy everything this Lindo Hotel has to offer.

The hotel, the breakfast, the rooms are impressive… a little far from Aveiro and the beaches but the tranquility and relaxation are worth it.

沒想到訂到了這家葡萄牙頂級瓷器品牌廠址的酒店，水療中心很大，泳池水温很舒服。旁邊有教堂，工廠店，瓷器博物館。離城中心租車10分鐘。房間不錯。就是早餐一般般。

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking a river and part of a porcelain factory. The décor is very beautiful and contains a lot of porcelain. There is a museum and two shops on the premises that shows and sells porcelain, well worth a visit. The hotel is classed as a 5-star hotel but doesn’t live up to its classification. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice, but had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show us the directions to our room. The direction was made by a young boy who didn’t know how long it would take to get to the hotel, didn’t know where we should park and couldn’t drive us in the buggy since he didn’t have a driving license. After standing for 10 minutes and trying to get an answer from him we started walking and found the room only 3 minutes’ walk away… The room was nice and quite large but not really cosy. It had a small outdoor seating area from where you could see the river standing up, but also the carpark. After settling into our room, we went to the pool bar for some sandwiches. After waiting for 30 minutes, we asked for our sandwiches and they had forgotten about them, at that time we were the only guests at the bar. The pool bar was the only open bar during daytime (the second bar opened 7PM) and had very limited offerings. No draught beer at all and only very small glasses of sparkling wine, to mention two things. We hade breakfast the first day about an hour before closing time and almost everything on the buffet was empty or nearly empty and it took long time (or never) for the staff to refill. There were a lot of tables around us that didn’t get cleaned for our stay at the breakfast. Later that day we explored the surroundings and the hotel called around 3 PM and asked if we wanted our room cleaned. We had left a sign on the door and all, but one, towels on the bathroom floor and was really surprised by the question. On the second day our room was cleaned but not until after 4 PM (and we had left a sign on the door since 10 AM). Breakfast the following days did not improve and neither did the pool bar (there weren’t any other restaurants or bar nearby). All in all, a nice looking hotel in a somewhat remote location but more a 2 to 3-star experience.

We thought we’d treat ourselves to a one night luxury stay which turned out to be quite the opposite as the electricity went off: no lights, shower, toilet flush, couldn’t shave, dry hair, have clothes ironed or get a hot meal in the restaurant. The manager said ‘it happens’ - if it happens why wasn’t there a contingency plan? A beautiful hotel but poor customer relations. No explanations, no information, no compensation, not even the offer of a glass of wine to help get through the night. To add insult to injury they booked us a restaurant in the town which, when we got there, was closed - we had to laugh! Definitely a “memorable experience” as it says in the hotel information.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in a suite with a balcony - room C01 - and had a terrific stay. The hotel grounds are like a resort - very relaxing. The layout of the room is very functional and large - giving you plenty of space to lounge about and sleep. Bathrooms are also a good size and layout. They supply good quality toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The restaurant was excellent. You receive a 10% off as a montebello member (free membership). Entrees we’re between 20-30 euros. Breakfasts were the best we had in hotels in Portugal. Lots of high quality cheese, bread, cold cuts, desserts, smoked salmon, eggs, sausage and cooked mushrooms. Great coffee. We will now look for montebello hotels when we are back in Portugal. One comment: the rooms starting with “b” had patios that looked at the pathway, allowing no privacy. We were really glad we were not staying in those rooms Lastly, being at the vesta Alegre property made shopping too easy! 😀

Excellent customer service. Beautiful, clean and well maintained grounds. We love it here. This was our second summer returning and we will return again. The staff is wonderful! Forgot a power converter, called at midnight to the front desk and within 5 minutes they found one and brought it to our room. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property. Minimalist design that never crosses into pretentiousness. I recommend this place for a thorough chill out. Not for those who crave a buzz as it is quiet during the week out of season. Couldn't fault it.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location with second to none services. We stayed there for 4 nights as a family and I can’t complain about anything. Breakfast is great with quality and variety, the indoor pools are awesome, the rooms are beautiful and large with plenty of space, all the amenities are great and the view from the rooms is serene and relaxing. I would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a superb hotel around Aveiro
