El Greco Hotel
"We come here most years and we are treated like royalty. The staff can't do enough to please you. The breakfast selection is second to none, it really sets you up for the day and no need to snack during the day. We have a sea view room which is fantastic. "
Enorme Santanna Beach
"Quite ok"
Astron Hotel
"Honestly, for us, the contract was fulfilled. Located directly on the beach near small shops, the hotel benefits from a privileged location and a modern presentation. We had a room with a direct sea view. I confirm that waking up to the sound of the waves is very pleasant. We also found the staff professional. Nearby we recommend: A sure bet referenced by the routard, the Vira Potzi restaurant is a few minutes' walk along the seafront. We also recommend the small Beach Club Waikiki, which is 200 m from the hotel, to take advantage of the deckchairs offered by the establishment for a lazy day. As for the restaurant, a simple but effective menu at a low price. In short, we enjoyed this stopover overall."
Pietra Sole
"Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from Ierapetra beach. New, spotlessly clean room, fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Important detail is the free private parking."
Mala Villa
"Wonderful stay. It was so welcoming and Beautiful. The food was AMAZING! We would come back here in a heartbeat. The views were fab toward the sea. This hotel, is not perfect, parking could be better, it's a little hair-raising parking out front, on a hill, on a village road up a mountain, for the uninitiated-what I wouldn't have given for a parking lot! One of the nights there was family. A very loud family in the room next door and we could hear everything. But honestly it doesn't take away from how much we LOVED this stay. You should stay here, especially if you are a foodie. Fabulous! And I miss little hermes to scratch at dinner, and the kitties too.. Oh breakfast was just.. Ah the coffee is so strong and great, and the cheese pie, and the Greek yogurt. Still think about breakfast here. "
Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort Crete Curio Collection by Hilton
"Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, very quiet. Nice resort layout. I especially liked the 2 big pools, one of which is a quiet pool with no music playing. I am rating 4 of 5 because the food options were a little limited in my opinion and the à la carte restaurant was closed in the week I was there but sadly there was no prior communication about this, neither from the travel company I had booked with, nor at the reception during checkin - I only found out the next evening when I wanted to make a dinner reservation for the night. This left 2 options for dinner: the buffet restaurant (which isn't for me, personally) or room service, which only had 3 (I believe) main choices. There was a quite good selection on the (pool)bar menu in the afternoon (I tried the Poké bowl which was tasty !) but this menu was only available during the afternoon until 16:30. I am wondering why the same food couldn't be an option on the room service menu ...? The bar staff explained I had to order in my room from room service menu but couldn't get the same food at the bar. (Again, very friendly explanation from the staff, but seemed a little illogical to me.) I happened to have a rental car anyway so I went out for dinner and lunch (no food between end of breakfast and beginning of pool menu at 13:00 either) which was a little downer as I had originally planned to just hang out on hotel property for my stay. Also, this was lost revenue for the hotel ;) They have an outdoor cinema where they show movies every night, so if you go to bed early, get a room that isn't facing that area of the resort. So overall, very nice hotel, but knowing the food situation make sure to do some research on what restaurant options there are nearby; having a car helps, since this resort is quite remote."
Oleander's Garden Traditional Cretan Cottage
"The Oleanders Garden exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning of my stay. I was greeted by smilling and frriendly staff, re ady to help with any issue. The room was spacious, bright and very cozy, with everthing you need for a comfortable stay, The breakfest were simply gorgeous, with a large selection of dishes for every taste. I would especially like to note the cleanliness and order in the hotel, as well as the staff's attention to detail. The hoel is located in a gorge surrounded by mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of the ciy. Within walking distance are beaches with criystal clear water, hiking trails, the Mylonas waterfall, traditional Greek taverns, minimarkets, pharmacies. In gerneral, I was absolutely delighted with the Oleanders Garden an will be happy to come back here again! Many thanks to all the staff for an unforgettable vacation!"
Porto Belissario
"Have been staying at all kind of hotels in many countries during the last 40 years, and this is definitely one of the top places. The location, the facilities, the great care for details, as well as the whole staff - fronted by Demetra and her husband - are absolutely top notch. Also, the food was truly home cooked. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again."

Coral Apts - Hotelia Hospitality Group
"Very small but clean apartment. Price performance absolutely OK. Unfortunately not as new and renovated as indicated on the homepage. The bathroom was highly used, the armature was not really appreciable. The beds were very good. Great mattresses. It was cleaned daily, that was very premature."
Kakkos Beach Hotel - Adults Only
"Adults only hotel. Great stay, lovely room, maisonette room, amazing view. ( Neighbours can be heard a little). Food was always varied, Greek and amazing. Service was impeccable. Pool bar staff daytime were funny. Beach for adults only, main pool small but beach is massive. Thanks to Despina et al, at front desk whom I emailed before and during the stay for requests like booking a car ( which I would recommend from Nikos, (Car 2 Day) good price, nice car and no extra insurances like other Crete companies. Overall, it’s a switch off retreat. No massive bars or nightlife or even restaurants. A quiet 2 weeks was just the bill."
Koutsounari Traditional Cottages
"Our stay at Koutsounari Traditional Cottages was perfect! Host Ioanna was incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly before we arrived and throughout our week-long stay, recommending restaurants, beaches and sites-- all of which were wonderful. Having traveled nearly 40 years throughout Greece, I will say that very few accommodations and very few hosts match the high level of Koutsounari. Our "Superior" cottage with sea view was spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional furnishings and art. The kitchen included full-size fridge, stove/oven, and coffee-maker, toaster, kettle, and all the dishes, cutlery and cookware we could possibly need. The bed was luxurious with wonderful linens, and the bathroom was large, beautifully-designed and well-thought-out. Housekeeping was perfect and discreet, and we appreciated the outdoor table and chairs with the little private garden. Ioanna knew we were there to adopt a dog and our cottage included a cute little dog bed and food and water bowls! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome gifts of the local liquor and delicious homemade biscuits and marmalade, as well as our conversations with Ioanna. Each cottage has perfect privacy from the others, the area is very quiet but close to town (car needed), and parking is available. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again."
Pignolia Suites - Adults Only
"The location, the peace and quiet, the amenities, the decor, the jacuzzi, and the friendliness of our hosts—everything was perfect. There's even a washing machine! We stayed for a month. However, the quality of the cleaning company's services, which also supplies the rooms, is lacking. Maria, the owner, is aware of this and is trying to find a solution. It's solely for this reason that we only gave it 4 stars; otherwise, it would be 5/5! Thank you to Maria and Adonis for this wonderful month!"
Sarikampos Beach
"Everything you want in one magical spot. The views from the balcony is dreamy. The sea is right there. The pool is amazing. Mina and her team are family. Breakfast is wonderful served under the terrace. Parking is free and the town is 1 mile away. Magical spot."
Tylissos Beach Hotel - Adults Only
"My husband and I spent a week at this hotel. Overall rating: 8/10. The journey from the airport took two hours, and we had to transfer from the coach to a car along the way. Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiling staff. This is the greatest asset of this place: everyone is smiling, friendly, and eager to help. There's a very family atmosphere, and special thanks to Rania, a very warm and welcoming person. The hotel has been renovated, the room is nice, the pool—there's really nothing to complain about. The food is very tasty—Greek. The sweets were delicious; it was impossible to control ourselves! However, a few things require attention: Needing peace and quiet, we chose an adults-only hotel. What good is that if the hotel is for adults, but the beach isn't? Imagine our surprise when we discovered that the adults' area was on one side, and on the other, someone from outside the hotel had booked a sunbed with a small child. After all, everyone was using the beach and sunbeds, and suddenly, children appeared. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water; upon entering the room, we were given two 0.5-liter bottles, and that was it. Of course, you can drink water from the available dispensers or buy one 1.5-liter bottle from the shop downstairs for 2 euros. You can't refill bottles from the dispensers. We ended up buying two cases of water from the shop and lugging it to our room. Water is available on tables in the dining room. Another issue is beach towels; a 15-euro deposit is not a problem, but if you need to replace them during your stay, it costs 3 euros. There's no beach bar (although it was included in the package price); all drinks had to be brought from the main bar in the building. To sum up, it's a nice place, a great holiday, but we won't be returning."
Petra Mare
"Great hotel! Everything! The beach is fabulous, the restaurant is great, clean, beautiful rooms with a sea view, nice service and really good animations - not pushy, at a high level! Animators Julia, Max and Samba and Frederico do their job!"
Varmy
"Really nice stay! Kind and friendly staff. Quiet complex. Comfortable parking near the hotel. Late check out given for my late flight."
Myrtos Hotel
Nakou Village
"A traditional hotel in the south east part of Crete. i really liked the home atmosphere of Dora and her daughter Ioana. Dora was there every breakfast, presenting proudly what she has cooked for us for breakfast. everything fresh, homemade. Many things to see in the area, not crowded and a real Crete atmosphere. you will feel at home..."
Coral Hotel
"The photo’s only show the best room. In the room it wasn’t even possible to place a suitcase on the floor without blocking everything. I think this was the worst hotel I since years stayed and far far below any modern standard. Only the hotel lobby felt comfortoble. For the same price you have available so many nice other hotels. <<>>"
