El Greco Hotel ★★★★
"The staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. On asking when I had to vacate the room I was told that as I had a problem with my car I could leave everything I the room until it was resolved. This I really appreciated. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and there was 2 sachets of coffee and 2 of milk. Also a bottle of water. Bathroom was clean and towels were provided. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice and you could sit outside and look at a great view of the sun rising over Irepetra. I would not hesitate to stay here again."
Enorme Santanna Beach ★★★★
"I booked a superior swim up room thinking of being able to enjoy the view lying at the pool. There was no shade at all after midday. No umbrella. I left. Reception very friendly. Dinner was average."
Astron Hotel ★★★
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore the area and get around. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast – a wide variety of delicious options, fresh and nicely presented. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again!"
Pietra Sole ★★★
"Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from Ierapetra beach. New, spotlessly clean room, fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Important detail is the free private parking."
Mala Villa ★★★★
"Beautiful large room, view from the height of the sea, very fine food and excellent breakfast"
Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort Crete Curio Collection by Hilton ★★★★★
"Beautiful adult only resort with 2 swimming pools. And beach access. The rooms are very nice with a spacious patio. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is decent but is mostly buffet only unless you choice to eat at the upscale restaurant. Which you need to turn in your selections the night before Ierapetra is a $10 euro cab ride with many wonderful restaurants."
Oleander's Garden Traditional Cretan Cottage ★★★
"The Oleanders Garden exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning of my stay. I was greeted by smilling and frriendly staff, re ady to help with any issue. The room was spacious, bright and very cozy, with everthing you need for a comfortable stay, The breakfest were simply gorgeous, with a large selection of dishes for every taste. I would especially like to note the cleanliness and order in the hotel, as well as the staff's attention to detail. The hoel is located in a gorge surrounded by mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of the ciy. Within walking distance are beaches with criystal clear water, hiking trails, the Mylonas waterfall, traditional Greek taverns, minimarkets, pharmacies. In gerneral, I was absolutely delighted with the Oleanders Garden an will be happy to come back here again! Many thanks to all the staff for an unforgettable vacation!"
Porto Belissario ★★★
"Have been staying at all kind of hotels in many countries during the last 40 years, and this is definitely one of the top places. The location, the facilities, the great care for details, as well as the whole staff - fronted by Demetra and her husband - are absolutely top notch. Also, the food was truly home cooked. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again."
Coriva Beach Hotel & Bungalows ★★★★
"Amzaing staff, great accomodation, perfect for a quiet family vacation. The beach is very clean, the seaside restaurant served fantastic food and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Lovely boutique hotel and made a welcome change to the nameless big brand chains I usually stay in."

Coral Apts - Hotelia Hospitality Group
"Very small but clean apartment. Price performance absolutely OK. Unfortunately not as new and renovated as indicated on the homepage. The bathroom was highly used, the armature was not really appreciable. The beds were very good. Great mattresses. It was cleaned daily, that was very premature."
Tylissos Beach Hotel - Adults Only
"My husband and I spent a week at this hotel. Overall rating: 8/10. The journey from the airport took two hours, and we had to transfer from the coach to a car along the way. Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiling staff. This is the greatest asset of this place: everyone is smiling, friendly, and eager to help. There's a very family atmosphere, and special thanks to Rania, a very warm and welcoming person. The hotel has been renovated, the room is nice, the pool—there's really nothing to complain about. The food is very tasty—Greek. The sweets were delicious; it was impossible to control ourselves! However, a few things require attention: Needing peace and quiet, we chose an adults-only hotel. What good is that if the hotel is for adults, but the beach isn't? Imagine our surprise when we discovered that the adults' area was on one side, and on the other, someone from outside the hotel had booked a sunbed with a small child. After all, everyone was using the beach and sunbeds, and suddenly, children appeared. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water; upon entering the room, we were given two 0.5-liter bottles, and that was it. Of course, you can drink water from the available dispensers or buy one 1.5-liter bottle from the shop downstairs for 2 euros. You can't refill bottles from the dispensers. We ended up buying two cases of water from the shop and lugging it to our room. Water is available on tables in the dining room. Another issue is beach towels; a 15-euro deposit is not a problem, but if you need to replace them during your stay, it costs 3 euros. There's no beach bar (although it was included in the package price); all drinks had to be brought from the main bar in the building. To sum up, it's a nice place, a great holiday, but we won't be returning."
Coral Hotel
"Excellent kind personnel and very clean room. Location is at the city center but not on the sea so the particular room had not a great view. Amenities were adequate. A good experience"
Kakkos Beach Hotel - Adults Only
"Such an amazing holiday at Kakkos beach. The accommodation was outstanding. We had a duplex suite which is def worth upgrading to. The views were amazing. Food was above anything else we’ve had at an all inclusive hotel. We couldn’t fault it. The beach bar is total luxury. Every single member of staff are a total asset to the hotel. This is def a venue on our yearly list of places to go! Cant wait to return. Thanks Kakkos Beach x"
Sarikampos Beach
"Everything you want in one magical spot. The views from the balcony is dreamy. The sea is right there. The pool is amazing. Mina and her team are family. Breakfast is wonderful served under the terrace. Parking is free and the town is 1 mile away. Magical spot."
Pignolia Suites - Adults Only
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pignolia Suites in Crete. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the south of the island, this is the perfect place. The apartments are spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you need. The bed is large and incredibly comfortable, the shower has excellent water pressure, there is plenty of wardrobe space, and the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your own meals. The balcony has two separate seating areas, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at different times of the day. Although the sea is a little further away, you can still enjoy lovely sea views in the distance. The pool area is absolutely stunning. Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating a stylish and elegant atmosphere with soft beige tones that blend perfectly with the surroundings. The pool itself is wonderful—not too cold—and there are clean toilets and showers available by the pool. The pool bar is open throughout the day, making it easy to enjoy drinks and snacks whenever you like. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a fantastic selection, including freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, several egg dishes prepared to order, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and much more. Everything was fresh and delicious. What truly makes Pignolia Suites special is the staff. They genuinely do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Their hospitality is exceptional, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One thing to keep in mind is that the apartments are located on a hill, so guests with limited mobility may find the walk up to the accommodation a little challenging. Also, while there are no real villages within walking distance, there are several beautiful bays nearby with tavernas where you can enjoy the sea. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants in the area, but a car is definitely essential to make the most of your stay. We would highly recommend Pignolia Suites to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and genuine Cretan hospitality. It's a place where you can truly unwind, and we would love to come back."
Petra Mare
"Great hotel! Everything! The beach is fabulous, the restaurant is great, clean, beautiful rooms with a sea view, nice service and really good animations - not pushy, at a high level! Animators Julia, Max and Samba and Frederico do their job!"
Nakou Village
"We were in Nakou Village with our 1,5-year-old daughter. The facility and the rooms are very clean, we felt very well! The facility is beautifully green with many flowers, fantastic views from the balcony to the sea and a great pool. The owners and staff are very friendly and customer-oriented. We even received fresh eggs and tomatoes for our daughter. There is a small indoor playground for children, really top! The facility is on the mountain, there are two taverns to reach foot. Otherwise you need a car that has not disturbed us. If we were to fly again to the region, we would in any case book the Nakou Village again."
Myrtos Hotel
Varmy
"A very nice place. It is not far away from the beach and also not far from the city center. Not a lot of things to do in the area since the are is open during summer."
Koutsounari Traditional Cottages
"Traditional cottage, that reminded me of childhood...in Ukraine? :-) We have/had the same way of constructing homes long ago. Upon arriving our host meet us, despite the late evening ( around 11 pm) and we had some stuff in the kitchen and the fridge waiting - home-made - real! House is equipped with airco, but, with temperatures outside 16 at night , 22-23 during daytime - we turned it on exactly ZERO times in our two-week stay. There is plenty of spaces, and plenty of flat, large and small cushions. Nice , small table outside - enough for 4-5 person, with shading roof. Houses were clean and Maria ensured helping us to keep them clean. There is no washing machine or dishwasher, but there is a laundry service, and remember - this is traditional living, not a big deal to wash your dishes. Plenty of good taverns around - and we can vote for a Rodos . Our location was allowing us to enjoy tranquility and sea views. Maybe 15 minutes walking to the beach. Once more - thank Ioanna and Maria for being our hosts !"
