Orka Lotus Beach

I loved my stay. Everything was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the location couldn't have been better. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable!

Well after 38 of us with the age range 2 - 69 have just spent 10 nights here and had a fantastic holiday. All staff was so helpful especially Rachel guest services manager couldn’t do enough for us all, any querys was always sorted . Food was amazing, rooms always clean, fridge topped up daily , bar service in Lobby and Blue bar great and not forgetting Sugar the waiter by the main pool kept us all topped up and the pool area cleaned up all the time. Osman the photographer did a great job with the pictures I wanted . Animation team worked very hard and the kids were happy. Thank you again Orka it’s been a pleasure…… see you soon

Currently sat in the lobby waiting to leave the Orka Lotus after an 11 night stay. While this hotel is nice it is definitely not a 5*. Travelled as a family with 2 kids one being 16 and the other 3. There isn’t much at all for the teenagers to do but I understand this age is pretty hard to please. The entertainment by the pool during the day is great & dont have a bad thing to say about the entertainment team they all work really hard & try to get everyone involved from dancing, aqua aerobics, table tennis, water polo and are just generally lovely chatty people who genuinely are interested in speaking to you. We had photos taken which were free for the shoot & decided to have the pictures sent to our phones for a good price, no hard sell and they took they’re time to go through and narrow down which we liked & didnt. Mike from the photo team is so lovely our 3 year old daughter was glued to him the whole holiday and he really took the time with her everytime she found him. The rooms.. we had a 2 bedroom room. It was cramped I have to say, the beds were large especially in the main bedroom and the 2 kids had 2 singles pushed together. The bathrooms need some tlc, when you get out the shower you hear and feel the shower tray move and let out air as water has obviously got underneath. The shower itself stunk as the week went on, the shower door wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived either. We went 2 days without toilet roll as the maids forgotten to replenish thankfully as a family with a young one we had baby wipes. We had to actually get our own roll from the lobby toilets. Drinks are stocked up (meant to be daily) however ours again weren’t stocked a couple of days at a time which was a nuisance. The pool areas are good, main pool is the busiest and you need to be up early to put towels down. Kids splash pool, baby pool & two more good sized pools next to them. The toilets around the pools are really not nice they smell are definitely not cleaned as they should be and honestly I chose to go back to the room as I couldn’t bare the smell. This is the same with the toilets around the slide pools which is also were the evening entertainment is. Food! Let me be honest I cannot wait to get home & eat a hot meal. The food whether it is in an a la carte restaurant or the buffet is cold this includes breakfast lunch and dinner. The food at the tapas snack bar by the main pool is exactly the same every single day. Chicken doner, chips, rice, spaghetti, nuggets, drumsticks and salad. Ice cream is only available at the pool area every other day along with churros which again is not 5*. We actually ate out 3 times in the local town at a bar called Coco Beach and it was lovely so definitely worth a visit, about 20 minutes to walk or 5 minutes on a scooter which are easily accessible outside the hotel towards the beach for £10 an hour. Honestly we have enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect but I think as people have mentioned previously this

Great hotel great staff fab for three generations and views amazing. Could walk to mamarus and ichmelar and rooms were big and clean. Food fine and coffee shop amazing! Loved Sugar and Ikram who helped us have a fab holiday. The slides were great and the shops in and around the local area were fun and cheap. Met some lively and lovely people and will go back in a year or two! Thanks allxregards to Sugar and Ikram!!! Jenny , kathryn and Aaliyah
