L’ETOİLE BEACH HOTEL

Just back after 10 days at l’etoile. we have been to this hotel many times and must say it was one of the best. Rooms large and clean. Food was very good something for everyone. Staff were excellent so friendly and helpful. The animation team made our stay very enjoyable and a credit to the hotel. Hotel is in a great location near to all the life Icmeler has to offer plus lots of shops. One downside is the sun beds they need replacing. Will definitely be back

Rooms nice, Jimmy Tonny Cindy from entertainment really good. Especially Cindy is a good friend. Food services is good but food is average. Thank you for everything

I rarely write negative reviews, but our stay at L’Etoile Hotel in İçmeler was so disappointing that I feel others should be aware before booking. The holiday started on the wrong foot after being met by rudeness. On arrival, we were met by Nilgün at reception, who didn’t even look up from her phone. Instead of a warm welcome, she snapped at us for our passports and to sign documents, there were no pleasantries such as “hello,” no smile, no “enjoy your holiday.” First impressions really matter, and this set the tone for the rest of our stay. It’s not my first rodeo Icmeler and I know they’re the kindest and politest souls…not sure why it doesn’t apply to this hotel! When we entered our room, we immediately noticed that the bunk bed was broken. We reported this straight away and were told someone would come in “15 minutes.” Two hours later, still no one had arrived. What should have been a simple fix turned into a two-day battle just to make sleeping arrangements safe. Shockingly, one of the “solutions” suggested by staff was to put my six-year-old child on the top bunk because she was “smaller and easier to lift.” This completely ignored the fact that the bed was unsafe, with a missing step and no proper support, putting her at genuine risk of falling. After getting nowhere with staff, I contacted Jet2 in England. Within 30 minutes, their rep Sandra came to the hotel and personally assisted us. With her support, Sophie in guest relations managed to arrange a mattress on the floor and provide an additional room key. While we appreciated Sandra and Sophie’s efforts, the sleeping arrangements remained far less than ideal. We eventually met the hotel’s rep Ilker, whose “solution” was to ask us to wait another day while the supposedly “fully booked” hotel checked if a further room might become available—or to change hotels, which he warned would be at least a three-day process. That would have meant wasting five full days of our holiday. Even worse, I was told by Ilker not to contact England again with issues, as it created “too many actions” for him to deal with. Completely unprofessional. Through all this, Sophie in guest relations worked tirelessly to help. She was clearly dealing with problems from multiple guests, yet never once made us feel like we were too much trouble. She often went out of her way—finding us at the beach or sending messages—to update us and support us as best she could. Sophie is genuinely a star and deserves massive recognition for the difficult job she has on her hands in that place. Without her, the stay would have been unbearable. The “solutions” offered by the hotel itself were either: 1. Move us to a room meant for three people and squeeze in another bed, or 2. Pay £500 for an upgraded room. After three days wasted, the only option left was to pay for the upgrade, as we were told there were no like-for-like rooms available, which is something extremely hard to believe in a hotel claiming to be fully booked.

Such a lovely hotel with friendly staff, thank you to the animation team Jimmy, Cindy , Tony and Amy for making our holiday the children loved you guys. Tasty food, perfect location and rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We will be booking again

I was a little skeptic of the hotel after reading some of the reviews, and I’m happy to say that it was a great hotel, so much so my parents are returning there in June. The room was very comfortable size, lovely big balcony and we had a pool view, we had fridge and coffee making facilities with complimentary condiments, I would say it’s modern, recently decorated, bedding was clean and fresh. Bathroom was beautiful in size and decor and had all sorts of complimentary showering items. We had bottles of water in the fridge on arrival and these were replenished daily, maid service everyday on Your room to make beds and clean around. Room security was a digital card and a further lock with a digital display outside with your room number. The food was great there was always lots of choices , lots of Fresh fruit and salad, cheeses , breads and the desserts were nothing less than amazing ( and I had pretty much tried them all by the end of the holiday) , only used snack bar on one day and it was a choice of pasta , chips and burgers on that day, the patisserie had freshly made cookies and cakes and ice creams pretty much all afternoon. I don’t really drink but the bar seemed well stocked and free flowing juices , coffees , soft drinks all easily accessible. Just a few steps away from the beach with free sun beds honestly what more could you ask For. Only points I would say was a let down was the mattress was a bit hard than my bed ( it was manageable of course ) and it rained (sadly April showers ) lol 😜 It was a great all inclusive hotel in our humble opinion.

I’ve read a load of reviews of this hotel and I’ll do mine now staff on desk spot on mixed review on table staff some very good on some no good asked for water and none came ended getting our own bar staff average but he didnt speak much English limited drinks vodka rum whisky Bacardi larger that was it they did try to make cocktails the food was to put it polite cold and un edidble we were all inc and we gave it benefit of doubt and tried 3 times over a 10 day stay and it never change ate out at other places cleaning staff very good water in room every day and to cap it all earth quake not hotels fault but very freighting all in all won’t stay there again gave it benefit of doubt stayed there 3 times with a gang of friends food very bad
