Arbatt Marmaris Hotel

I must of struck lucky cos my room was fine , comfy clean bed , nice shower/bathroom , cleaners do bare minimum tho- just a very quick tidy up of room etc, staff were all sound with me from arrival to departure - now the food ,its crap - really crap , i ate twice maybe 3 times in my whole stay but went up regular to check if anything worth eating but left without having anything at all and ended up using The Broadway ,Majestic and the kebab shop near tin tins to get some decent food , beer ,wine, vodka ,cokes ,fanta all good but no gin included and bar often ran out of vodka and clean glasses , Other guests were my main gripe - noisy in corridors at like 3am/4am and one night i just wished Areeeefa or whatever her name is just let him back in the room - mate u went on and on and on 😂 and another african couple were arguing in pool area quite aggressively (think he got barred out it got that bad) - learn to behave and keep the noise down ffs. The pool area was very shaded and water too cold to enjoy a dip , not 1 bit of entertainment the whole trip. Heard many guests complaining about lack of drinks ,money going missing out of rooms,attitudes of staff, but mainly the food - and i agree it was rank.

When the barman on the Beachfront see's your Arbatt wristband, then says "I feel so sorry for you staying there". This kind of summed it up. The hotel rooms are filthy & poorly maintained. Food in general poor quality and not labelled at all. Also the temperature of the food was luke warm. All inclusive bar consists of Tuborg, Raki, local Red Wine, & local vodka. They do have nice drinks but be prepared to have to pay for them. Very disappointing stay, at what was billed as a 4* hotel. If this is a 4* hotel then I'm the tooth fairy!!!! Positives: The staff are very friendly & the WiFi is of decent quality. Summary. Avoid, one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Had to think hard to find a redeeming feature apart the staff.

Love Holidays (and Tui) rate the hotel as 4-star all-inclusive. This continues for their 2026 brochure. However, my room in the main building, above reception, was pleasant but more like a 3-star. Brits are not the dominant holidaymaker using the hotel - they are Turks and Russians The main criticism among Brits was the quality of food from the sole restaurant. The 'feature' dish in the evenings was cooked by a chef in front of guests. But repeatedly it was either small chicken drumsticks, chicken wings or another cheap chicken cutting. On other nights there was meat mince is the shape of little wee burgers or sausages (without any sausage skin). I have read that Turks commonly mix beef and lamb mince in their cooking. That may explain the odd taste. The other 4 or 5 dishes each night consisted mainly of Turkish stews to use up yesterday's feature meat, a pasta with minimal meat accompaniment (sometimes a godsend), a stir fry and dishes of veg. I picked away but it certainly doesn't mirror 4* dining. The type of food is more focused at the Turkish & Russian clientele. Families with kids of all ages would have difficulties. Many found themselves eating out at additional cost. Then another big criticism that guests got used to was the all-inclusive pool bar. The only courtesy alcohol was a local beer, a red wine and vodka, vodka and more vodka! This did NOT reflect the all-inclusive drinks that people had paid extra for and drinks variety at other all-inclusive hotels. I questioned the head receptionist/fixer about the lack of local spirits. Usually it is non-branded local whiskey, gin, etc and the bar staff regularly mix up customer cocktails. The response was "whisky comes from Scotland, so it is not local" and the likes. Branded Vodka is obviously Russian but the Arbatt must have been able to cheaply buy vodka distilled in Turkey. The holiday providers like Love Holidays should be pushing the hotel to improve the catering and address the pitiful all-inclusive drink choice. I doubt any pressue for the holiday providers and I failed to see any Love Holidays rep during my fortnight and/or contact info. Most people come to Turkey for the better weather and to get a sun-tan. If you want a sun-tan while staying at the Arbatt, you will have to use the courtesy loungers on the nearby beach. A 3-minute walkaway, not the 100-metres advertised. Love Holidays advertise an Entertainment Programme for kids, and one suitable for adults. That is total lies. There are no entertainment staff at the hotel. So, venturing out to seek entertainment such as shows can become a necessity. The perks are it's good, handy location and decent wi-fi coverage. Friendly helpful staff despite receiving some of the frustrations of guests!

This hotel is not for English people me and my husband just came back, staff at bar where rude and staff in restaurant rude we looked at the food and salad all dry food not good we eat and drank out every day drinks where disgusting we got two bottle s water in room a day room was not cleaned all week cleaner would come and give two towels 2 waters a toilet rolls the walls in room where rotten English people avoid this hotel i don't usually leave reviews but so disappointed 😞
