The Lilygate Lagos
"Lilygate hotel is a hotel, beautiful and comfortable as advertised. As a guest, I had 100% value for money. It is Located in a serene neighborhood in Lekki with proximity to transportation, supermarkets, eateries and basically every other amenities one would need to feel comfortable away from home. It has an equipped gym, family friendly swimming pool, spa, concierge, tasty meals, VERY friendly staff, nice room decor and very efficient housekeeping. It is a hotel that can cater to both business travelers and vacationers. I would totally recommend lilygate hotel."
Citilodge Hotel
Tranquil Oasis
"I found this hotel to be clean, modern and secure. Attention to detail like a fire extinguisher, sprinklers , smoke alarms told me they are not joking with their safety and security. The location is great in lekki 1 and easy to access the main gate and/or Ikoyi via the link bridge. Beautiful rooms and good but limited breakfast. Superb interior."

Monty Suites Lekki
"Awful from start to end. Perhaps this is the Norm in Lagos and as such this might be ok but for any European/American guests, I’d stay far away and splurge a little more on something decent. Booked the exec suite and was baffled. I can’t imagine how terrible the other rooms are. Large open room including bathroom however that’s where the pros end. Bathroom was filthy from top to bottom. As in made my skin crawl with the thought of using it. 1 toilet paper (not replaced daily) left between 2 guest. I towel to share. Bathrobe looks like a lab coat with no tie, only one per person. No slippers. No hand tissues. Floor was disgusting. Visible marks and soap scrums left on shower door. Very run down. Toilet doesn’t flush properly. Shower door doesn’t close leading to leaks all over the floor. No bath maths. No shower mats to prevent spillage or leaks. Extremely unsanitary. In the room, limited mosquito or ant repellants. Got bitten throughout. 1 complimentary water to share. One individual coffee sachet to share between 2. No iron in the room. It’s a fee to iron per clothing item. For a suite, you’d expect some sort of kitchenette but none available not even cups/mugs. Fee to use the hotels kitchen. Room service is on the pricier side but it’s 24/7 which is convenient. Room curtains are filthy with visible blood and stains. Ceiling is also filthy, looks like cello tape marks. Bedding is old and peeling. Reception is very friendly and proactive. Quick to respond. Mini fridge is warm. Ac is good. WiFi is very slow. Breakfast is Nigerian meals which are slightly heavy but decent though very limited options. No coffee milk at breakfast or juices. 2* hotel at best. Room is very noisy as it’s facing a Main Street so can hear every car noise and people arguing. Hotels main priority is to squeeze money out of guests as much as possible rather than providing a food service. More profit ran than client focused. December rates are very high. Limited power sockets even for an exec suite. Booked as no other reviews and photos looked nice so have benefit of the doubt but absolutely would never revisit. Pool is surrounded by football bar which is smoking free. Zero privacy. Great reception staff, would have given 1* otherwise"
The Peachtree Hotel Lagos
"I was working nearby, and it was getting dark and it was too late to walk far, so I found a hotel nearby. The courtyard was spacious, parking was convenient, and the lobby was bright. My first impression was quite good, and the room was also quite good, reminiscent of a typical Chinese hotel. On the way upstairs, I saw a small animal walking by. I asked the waiter what it was, and they said it was probably a gecko, common around here, so I didn't think much of it. Twenty minutes after checking in, I noticed a small mouse in the corner. When I went to check, it had already hidden behind the curtains. A closer inspection of the room revealed mouse droppings all over. OMG! I asked to change rooms, but the mouse wasn't there after the change. So why did it appear in that room? Any guesses?"

The Yacht Hotel
"a beautiful hotel in the heart of lekki. I loved everything about this rare gem, I must admit I was skeptical booking it, but I was not left disappointed. all the staff were professional, I need to give a shout out to victor and blessing in reservations. they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable . there was no staff I had an issue with. falilat at the restaurant was awesome, praise and John in the butler services were extremely helpful. if I cld remember all the names of everyone who attended to me they will be written here . but the staff were truly exceptional . the view from my room was breath taking. I loved how much attention was paid to detail in this place in every aspect. no noisy crowd and I liked how it is designed to attract a certain class of people. I value quietness and this place did not disappoint. it was cozy and intimate and needless to say I can't wait to be back. I can say comfortably they make the best jollof rice in that hotel. a few areas of improvement will be to make the buffet daily, and maybe make the internet faster. also probably have the room soundproofed better because of the lounge close by. Also if possible put privacy curtains for the bathroom glass in the bedrooms. all in all I enjoyed this get away and I can't wait to be back. at this rate and if it remains this way it will be sooner than later."
