Mi visita a la Hacienda “CharlaVi” no fue tan grata. Llegué a las ocho de la noche y las áreas húmedas ya estaban cerradas (las cierran a las 8), y al día siguiente solo abrían desde las diez de la mañana, con el check-out a las doce. O sea, básicamente no hubo chance de disfrutarlas. Y la piscina, bueno, heladísima (agua fría) con el clima frío, así que ni hablar. Las habitaciones también necesitan amor urgente. Entiendo que la idea es que se vea todo con un aire antiguo, pero “antiguo” no debería ser sinónimo de camas que crujen, colchones duros y olor a humedad. En serio, las habitaciones están pidiendo a gritos un mantenimiento porque se sienten más descuidadas que “vintage”. Y no solo las habitaciones todas la áreas necesitan mucho mantenimiento. Y para cerrar con broche de oro, el desayuno incluido es básico muy básico: fruta, huevos revueltos, jugo unos panes y nada más. Si esperas algo más variado, te quedas con las ganas. Así que, en definitiva, la hacienda tiene potencial, pero necesita un buen retoque para que la experiencia sea tan agradable como prometen, todo esto tomando en cuenta el costo.

La experiencia en la hostería dejó mucho que desear. Se nos ofreció una habitación con cama King size y nos dieron una Queen. Cuando llegamos a ésta vimos que las sábanas tenían arañas y el techo igual. También pudimos ver polvo en los veladores y toallas sucias. La atención en el restaurante bastante mala. Lo único que salvó la estadía fue la comida.

Realmente una pésima experiencia, instalaciones sumamente descuidadas, el peor lugar que he visitado en Ecuador, la atención es pésima pero sobre todo la infraestructura es deplorable, ni que hablar de la relación precio oferta, no recomendado en absoluto, salimos ahora del hotel luego de una noche incómoda, con ruido, una habitación poco menos que deplorable, lamentable.

Wunderschöne Hacienda aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Tolle Anlage in einer großzügigen Parkanlage. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant. Frühstück im überdachtem Innenhof. Swimmingpool mit schöner Bar. Schöne Räume, wo auch unter den Betten geputzt wird (dazu gibt es einen Aufsteller), wäre aber nicht schlecht, wenn man auch die Decke mal abstauben würde. Die Zimmer sind etwas muffig, lässt sich beheben, wenn man die Tür eine Stunde lang öffnet. Minigolf, Escape Room, Spa, Whirlpool, Sauna, Minigolf, Tischtennis, eigene Kapelle.

Eine wirklich traumhafte alte Hacienda an der Panamericana. Die Zimmer sind sauber und rustikal, abends gut es eine Wärmeflasche ins Bett. Das Highlight ist aber die Anlage an sich. Die Hängematten in der großzügigen Gartenanlage, laden zum Entspannen regelrecht ein. Einen kleinen Teich mit Kois gibt es ebenfalls zu bewundern. Es gibt überall auch im Haupthaus versteckte, wunderschöne Plätze die zum Verweilen einladen. Einfach nur gemütlich. Das Essen im Restaurant ist einfach aber gut. Die Häuser zeigen die gesamte Familiengeschichte incl. Privatkapelle. Insgesamt ein besonderer Ort, abseits westlichen Komforts und Hotel-Öde.

Our stay was AWESOME!!! Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Food was great!!! Servers were wonderful. My husband and I came back from a long day, and they had a special table (for dinner) with a fire going in the fireplace for us. We also felt very safe there. Can't wait to visit again. Awesome place, awesome people,
