We ordered breakfast baps from Bear Lodge restaurant to be told it was closed during our stay, it wasn't? We were offered a breakfast hamper but we couldn't afford to pay £35 for two, does juice, fruit, croissant and bap really cost that much! We thought from the details provided that we'd be able to park beside the lodge but that's not the case. I know we were offered help but it needs to be clearer that parking is not at the lodge. No buggy for Bear Lodge residents, why? Why have a parking bay at the bottom of the steps if there's no buggies? Lastly we want to give a huge thank you to Winston. He was brilliant doing the animal talks and even better on the Giraffe Safari, he carried on despite the noise from the children on the truck.

Fantastic time again! Second time staying at Bear Lodge & it did not disappoint. The icing on the cake is being able to still have access after the park has closed. Really feels like a VIP treatment.

We stayed in leopard creek wigwam and it was a very memorable stay. The accomodation was excellent and very well equipped. My son especially enjoyed toasting the marshmallows after dinner. Being able to roam through the park on the golf buggy meant we were able to stay and really enjoy the enclosures. The staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

We have just got back from a family break. And WOW we had the best time from the moment we arrived, the Pinewood Pod was cosy and had everything we needed, the complimentary marshmallows was the perfect touch the girls loved roasting them right opposite the Lions. We were pleasantly surprised that we had 24/7 access to the park, it was so nice waking up and having a wonder round to the Tigers and Lions in our onesies. We had breakfast at Pinewood Cafe in the morning which was lovely and just what we needed, the safari was fab the driver was knowledgable and it didn’t seem rushed at all. The park is hilly but plenty to see and also toilets and refreshments plotted in the perfect places. By the time we were at the bottom we were dreading the incline back but we stumbled across a shuttle truck which was the perfect touch and relief! All of the staff were 10/10 and we haven’t stopped talking about it all since being home. Thoroughly recommend.

The highlight was living in the Lion Lodge, having lions as our close neighbours for a few days was an amazing experience. It was a wonder to observe lions up close. The decor of the lodge is beautiful We were impressed by the high level of animal welfare the Lions looked happy and well cared for. We were impressed by the high quality of all the animals enclosures the grounds are very beautiful The staff are friendly and polite, very helpful High levels of cleanliness throughout The food is delicious the only criticism was that the Baby Dolls restaurant was unsuitable for Celiacs we did eat there the first night after being told that it would be safe to do so. However when we went back we were advised not to eat at Baby Dolls because off cross contamination from non gluten free food preparation The breakfast at the Garden restaurant and Bear Lodge restaurant were good for people with celiac but dinner at the Garden restaurant was not good for people with celiac
