We wanted to visit Nantucket and Hyannis so we decided to stay at the Anchor In because it was so close to the ferry to Nantucket. It also had good reviews. We were very pleased with the Anchor In. The staff, especially Mary, were very friendly and helpful. The room very nice and very clean. We had a wonderful view of the harbor from our balcony. Continental breakfast was very good and coffee/tea and cookies were available at night. We would definitely recommend the Anchor In.

The breakfast was juices ,coffee rolls or cereal and good quality. The bed and room itself was nice and comfortable but not resort quality. The biggest plus is the view it's fantastic. This hotel needs a lot of basic maintenance. We stayed in room 126. There was a slippery large pool of water from the ice machine in the foyer going into the hallway for rooms 100 etc for 3 days.. Our luggage wheels and shoes were wet,.This was never corrected for our 3 day stay even with house keeping crossing it many times. The plumbing is old in the room, the shower had to be jiggled, the rod where the soap goes came off, a hole in the wall behind the bathroom door, the toilet started running in the middle of the night for no reason. Then there is a resort fee for absolutely nothing.

Beautiful and clean room!! We were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and some delicious desserts to celebrate our anniversary. Walking distance to restaurants and Main Street and great view overlooking the harbor. Sandi at the front desk was so nice and helpful!!

Great spot by the water, quiet, clean and nice amenities. Perfect spot to stay to catch the ferry the next morning. We really enjoyed.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, a short ride or walk to Main Street shopping and dining. The staff was so helpful, courteous and efficient. We stayed in a harbor view room with a nice view and a deck. The room was as spacious and looked recently updated. Beautiful and very clean. A small kitchen with a keriug, refrigerator, microwave. Daily breakfast with a good variety of items. A small convenience store. I hope we can return!

We had a lovely stay and Sandi was the best at the front desk. Very clean and nice rooms, beautiful harbor views on the water side. Fire pit at night is a nice touch too.

We had a great stay at The Anchor In. The hotel and rooms were spotless! The breakfast and atmosphere was just perfect for a New England weekend stay. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Couldn’t beat the location — quick walk to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard ferries and roads to visit other Cape Cod towns.

Anchor In is rated a 3* hotel and I would agree with that. Nice view of the harbor. The rooms are plain, no decor to speak of, ours was spacious. They are clean and the bed was comfortable. The tub/shower is very slippery so be careful. There is a Keurig coffee machine in the room and a mini fridge. Breakfast is continental plus vac-packed hard boiled eggs, which were good, yogurt, coffee, OJ, cereal, bagels, muffins, vac packed cake slices. Skip the vac-packed chocolate chip cookies they have out in the evening, not good. They have an ice water dispenser which we used to fill water bottles. Currently there is construction at the Cape Cod Hospital and a new condo development nearby, so the mornings are noisy.

Anchor inn is nice, but nothing special. The hotel is much older, but clean. Rooms and Bathrooms need an update for sure. The breakfast was simple, but enough for us. We don’t really do breakfast so coffee and a bagel was fine. Sandi the hotel manager was amazing. Helpful in every way. She is the key to this hotel. She made the stay very pleasant.
