當晚到達酒店時已過了8時，餐廳已關，服務員拿出簡單地圖耐心地講介附近餐廳位置。早餐是自助式的，比預期豐富，很滿足。酒店佈置很別緻，很多打咭位。有免費停車位，地理位置方便，距離熔岩展覽館Lava Centre 只有5分鐘路程。

Ci siamo fermati x il pranzo, che di solito non servono, ma eravamo affamati e stanchi con un bambino di 6anni affamatissimo e Ci hanno accolto, hanno cucinato x noi nonostante l’orario, e il cuoco italiano ci ha preparato un favoloso risotto con gli asparagi e l’agnello; il migliore mangiato in Islanda! Non posso che consigliare a tutti di cenare al loro ristorante, io ci tornerò sicuramente!

Cosy and friendly hotel.
This is a friendly hotel, run by very nice people and is well located to visit the south coast of Iceland around Vik. Some of the decor is a little tired but the hotel has a homely 'old fashioned' feel to it, giving it a cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was very good. One comment I would make is that the mattresses on the beds need replacing, they were quite lumpy. If that could be done, then I'd definitely recommend a stay at the Fljotshlid

Need to be renovated
The dinner and service was good. However the room really needs to be renovated. The shower curtain smelled sweat, the bed eas old, small and totally uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
